Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighborhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighborhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.

For over 15 years my wife and have been making the Renaissance hotel São Paulo are go to place when visiting friends and family. The hotel itself is constantly evolving as the best place to stay in São Paulo. Every time when we visit the improvements are made throughout the hotel, the lobby and restaurants are spotless and modern. The rooms are clean with the most comfortable beds with the most beautiful views of the city. I would like to give a big thank you to Bruna at the front desk, she greeted us with a big smile and welcome, she is a great asset to the hotel not to mention a wonderful person, Bruna thank you once again for making our stay so enjoyable. We also like to thank all who work behind the scenes to make this past trip so enjoyable.

My first time staying here in São PAulo and i wanted a hotel with a pool to get some sun. We had a suite and lounge access which is very American, but was very pleased with the hotel, the room, location, gym, and most importantly the staff. All the staff from checking in, to the lounge service and staff, and at the bar. I am extremely pleased with my stay here and the best part it was very cheap.

It is sad that non-white guests are continuously not welcomed at this Marriott affiliated hotel in Sao Paulo. While white guests breeze thought the "security" is harrassing non-caucasian registered guests at the elevator and at the hotel entrance. It is unfortunate that this is continuous issue at this hotel.

Dear LoyaltyLobby , Many thanks for sharing your opinion on the website of TripAdvisor. We always take criticism very seriously at the Renaissance São Paulo Hotel and I am utterly surprised to read your comment about being treated differently. We cordially receive guests from all over the world, as we also love the collaboration of our multicultural staff. You may be rest assured that there is no kind of racism that is encouraged by the hotel. I have looked into the matter together with my security team and have gathered that it was a sheer case of misunderstanding and is nowhere linked to any intention of racism. To ensure everyone's safety, all visitors are properly registered at the front desk, regardless of who they are. Nevertheless, I have briefed the team to ensure they are more careful with the approaches to ensure such acts are not repeated which unintentional hurt the sentiments of our valued guests. Please do accept our sincere apologies for the same. I remain at your entire disposal by telephone or email if you would like to discuss the matter further. Please let me know when you decide to return to São Paulo and I will personally take care of your stay so you will experience the truthful Renaissance service. Wish you a lovely week! Booked with Bonvoy points, 2 nights. Checked in around noon and room was ready, It was a nice corner room with a great view of the city, good king bed, large bathroom with separate tub and shower, bidet, large TV with good channel selection, good wifi. Pool was not big but did the job, with plenty of chairs around. Gym was great, more like a fitness club, with 5 to 6 each treadmills, bikes, elliptical, weights...next door was a little restaurant with decently prized items (juices, sandwiches, small breakfast). Did not have breakfast (no longer included for gold members) but buffet seemed plentiful, at around 20$. Opted for more local breakfast in nearby lonchonette. This was during Easter, so on the Sunday, they had trays of brigadeiros and chocolate eggs for guests. Overall, great stay.
