My girlfriend and I stayed in Beats hostel for an entire month during my time in Sao Paulo and we couldn't have asked for a cooler space to serve as the focal point of our stay. Literally 3 blocks from one of the city's largest avenues and the metro, 1 block away from the largest supermarket in the area, and... More

Yes, its not expensive. But everything there was horrible. At the front desk there was a blond guy that wasnt even part of the staff. No one helped us with the bagage. The room smelled terribly bad, the floor wasnt clean. In fact, I had to pick up a broom and start to clean it myself while this guy and... More

Really good place to stay in São Paulo! Nice bedrooms, cool staff, good breakfast and a really nice bar where you can drink excellent caipirinhas! I really recommand this Hostel if you want to spend a good time in São Paulo! Besides the location is really good, just next to the principal street!

So I booked this hostel thinking it was a 'Party hostel', but there wasn't much of a party happening when I was here, however it was very quiet so I won't blame that on the hostel. Anyway, fairly clean hostel, the staff were friendly but spoke very little English. Luckily Sao Paulo was quite cool when I went because there... More

Really great place to stay in Sao Paulo but not a party hostel so much like was described. Good location for shopping and transport. Wifi a bit patchy but good by south american standards. Breakfast (the few times i saw it) is better than average. The staff are really great but a lot of them were new so didn't know... More

Beats Hostel left a very positive impression on me. The staff is very friendly, the location is very good, and the hotel is simple but has everything you would need. Overall very good quality for money!

The staff is absolutely awesome and so nice!!! Best experience ever. Definitely order something front the bar, they make a great drink. It's in a good location too so every thing is accessible especially the close avenue paulista. It also has the party vide if you are looking for that!

Staying in Bela Vista

Neighborhood Profile
Bela Vista
Known for its Italian cantinas, Bela Vista is the place to go for great pasta. Also called “Bixiga”, the area is an important cultural part of the city, with the bohemian and the religious costumes of its inhabitants on full display. In August, the large Nossa Senhora Achiropita party fills the streets with a variety of Italian food and music. You can experience the liveliness of the neighborhood walking through the antiquities fair at Dom Orione Square or visiting the “Brazilian Caminito”, a version of the Argentinian street complete with colorful buildings. Bela Vista is also home to the traditional samba school “Vai-Vai”. Buy a ticket to a rehearsal and get a taste of what Carnival is like.
