The hostel was quite dead when we were there and the toilets were very dirty during our two night stay. Location was good though. Bit annoying that breakfast wasn't included and the beds were quite noisy when people moved

Thanks for your comments. Sorry about the atmosphere, but this is the low season, so sometimes we get some not so fun guests, even thou the bar is open every night and we try to keep the vibe up as usual. More

I stayed at LimeTime for one night while traveling through Sao Paulo. Despite my late check-in after 9:00PM, the staff was very friendly and attentive to my needs. The accommodations fit the description and are great for somebody looking for a modest, affordable place to crash. I don't think their website was clear enough, but this hostel is CASH ONLY... More

Stayed here a few nights before headed to the Olympics in Río. Beds were adequate, bathrooms were a bit cramped. Good vide in the bar area during social hour. A free Capri, and they turn off the WiFi to promote socializing! Staff were friendly and helpful! Good times!

Great hostel. Great location and close to the centre and a nearby metro station. Hot water, clean beds, and spacious rooms (we stayed in a 6 bed dorm) and friendly staff, who speak perfect English! Renata is especially nice! Free caipirinha at 21:00 as well. It also has a relaxing chill out area in reception. Highly recommended!

Very good and cozy. Helpful stuff and good atmosphere. Situated only 10 min from Paulista in a pretty safe district. So there are no problems going home and night. Great "value for money" choice .....

Lime time Paulista is not what Lime time Vila Madalena used to be. This is definitely not a party hostel at all. Bar is opened 4hours a day, and guests are not allowed to bring beers when the bar is closed.... Quite disappointing.....

hello, … thanks for your feedback! We are trying to improve everyday and your opinion is very important to us. We are sorry you didn`t have a nice stay in our hostel. Considering the rule about bringing alcohol to the hostel, it`s standard that hostels that provide drinking options to their guests cannot allow bringing drinks from other establishments. More

As soon as we walked into this hostel it had such a good vibe, really cool place. Henetta made us feel so welcome, she's brilliant. Great wifi, works in the rooms too, and different activities going on every day so there's always something to do. Really close to a metro station so very easy to get around and explore São... More

Hey! Thanks for your feedback! Your opinion is very important to us. We are studying the possibility of setting new fans and a air-conditioning system, so good to know it would be welcome! Thanks again! Cheers! More

Staying in Bela Vista

Neighborhood Profile
Bela Vista
Known for its Italian cantinas, Bela Vista is the place to go for great pasta. Also called “Bixiga”, the area is an important cultural part of the city, with the bohemian and the religious costumes of its inhabitants on full display. In August, the large Nossa Senhora Achiropita party fills the streets with a variety of Italian food and music. You can experience the liveliness of the neighborhood walking through the antiquities fair at Dom Orione Square or visiting the “Brazilian Caminito”, a version of the Argentinian street complete with colorful buildings. Bela Vista is also home to the traditional samba school “Vai-Vai”. Buy a ticket to a rehearsal and get a taste of what Carnival is like.
