So much that isn't up to par. The place is not a hotel, really... it's more of a flat with room service. The decor is from the 80s, from old furniture to mouldy refrigerator and half-closing windows and half-working showerheads. A bit of street noise, my room had a leaky a/c unit above that incessantly kept hitting my unit with an enjoying bang through the night. The internet is disastrous. However, large apartment (separate room + living room + kitchen + bath) and location is excellent, right next to Paulista Avenue.
The location is just perfect (one block from Avenida Paulista) and the frontdesk guys were kind and precise. the apartment has an old fashioned style with dark and old furniture. Kitchen and living room should be integrated to provide a open and modern flat concept. The room has a good size, the old style should also be reviewed. Carpets are not welcome anymore by allergic people. Actually I would come back because the benefit x cost rate is good, but there is a lot to improve to rate it above the minimum average.
Very old apartment from bed to bath. The stained carpet, furniture and appliances are from some 20 years ago. Just ok for the price range and the confort offered: Shower was hot but hard to keep the temperature steady, alternating from very hot to very cold. Linens and bed confort are not great, and In the kitchen there was only two glasses for water and a few tea cups no glasses for wine or coffee maker. On the good side, it was clean, the location is good and the free parking is a bonus that may cost a lot in that area.
The place is well located but the room is awful. Old furniture, poorly cleaned, bad wifi connection and medium level staff. The major problem is the pictures in their website is not what you see in the place, I felt deceived.
We stayed 2 nights at Alameda apart hotel. It is close to Paulista ave. and shopping malls.the furnitures and hotel.price was in mid range.good staff,we communicated by google translate in English. Totaly not a bad hotel.
Just next to Av. Paulista, close to metro station and have a lot of bars and restaurants near by. So - good location. The wifi signal is good and the price is low. For the bad stuff: Not very clean and not well organized (not to bad either). No one speaks English there. If you have a late flight - you can't use their showers to get ready for the flight. Once you checked out - you can only leave your bags
This place is awful! The location is so good but the place just sucks! Although the prices are cheap (R$ 135 per day) for a hotel / flat of this size at this location, the quality of the place is just crap. - There's no Fitness Center - There's no Swimming Pool - Rooms have TV (Old CRT monitors, small size) but have NO cable connection. TV only catches free to air channels which truly sucks. They don't even tell you about this at the time of checking in. - The building is equipped with Wi FI but it's as good as not being there. Connectivity is slow, not stable and you may simply forget about Streaming videos / video chats while being in here. - Furniture in the rooms is ancient and should be thrown away. - There're no helper boys when you check-in or check out. Hell, they don't even have a cart to help you carry the stuff. - Rooms are cleaned everyday but the bed sheets are changed just once or twice a week. - Hotel staff doesn't speak English at all. - Air conditioners don't work very well and the staff is not really keen to get it fixed promptly either. Avoid it (unless you're in severe financial crisis).…
It doesn't matter whether you are on a budget or not. It is a terrible place with old furniture and, what's worse, old and insecure appliances (the gas fires sometimes fade out leaving a nice gas escape, showers never work fine, etc.). Terrible, terrible, terrible and unless you are really desperate wouldn never go there. There are places nearby slightly more expensive and much better and with better facilities (gym and swimming pool these place doesn't have).
Good place to stay, comfortable, near metro lines, cheap comparing to others in the same neighborhood. The staff are ok, the managers speak English. The apartment is small but nice (one bathroom, one bedroom, one kitchen), if you are planning to do a long stay, you can use the kitchen of your apartment saving some money of your trip. The bad thing about this hotel is that they don´t have breakfast/lunch/dinner , if you want to eat something you have to walk to some place near the hotel. They say that have a business center, but is a old computer with internet, fine to check some e-mails .
