Extremely well located in the Liberdade neighborhood in central São Paulo, close to subway,Asian stores and great restaurants. Clean, friendly staff and safe. Simple hotel and limited breakfast buffet.

It was my boyfriend's first time in this hotel and he loved it. The service is amazing, breakfast is still the same since ever but I have nothing to complain about it because I feel very satisfied (he did too!) and people are always helpful. Great place to stay - it feels like home.

I stayed at the hotel for about 2 weeks with my husband and two young kids. The hotel was clean, safe, comfortable and employees extremelly helpful and friendly. This is not a 4 star property, but if you are on a budget and looking for a way to enjoy your stay and still experience Sao Paulo I would highly recommend...

We had stayed in Banri Hotel for almost 5 weeks for business trip. This hotel was not in any hotel booking system and only accept reservation over phone or fax. This old fashion way makes our trip kind of uncertain till booking via local friends. The most extraordinary way is they will take your reservation without any deposit requirement. The...

This is a great hotel for those who are on budget since breakfast is included. The room is simple, but clean. One of the best features of the hotel is the room’s floor, which has wood floor instead of carpet since I’m easily allergic, plus I personally think that wood floors are cleaner than carpet. The hotel has great location,...

I found out about the hotel through a guide book. My first thoughts about the hotel was really good, because the staff really made feel at home. When I staying there, I was able to see that one of the floors, was going through a remodel and I was able to see that the hotel, is always keeping up with...

Staying in Liberdade

Neighborhood Profile
Liberdade
As the largest Japanese community outside of Japan, Liberdade offers a variety of shops with Asian products and restaurants with diverse Asian cuisines. Liberdade is a world unto its own - you may forget you are in São Paulo. The streets are decorated with red lamps and there are various markets. On the weekends, there is a great street fair at Liberdade Square, starting right by the subway entrance. The Oriental Garden and the Busshinji Temple are beautiful spots to visit, and if you want to learn more about Japanese culture and immigration to Brazil, stop by the Museum of Japanese Immigration.
