Consolação lies between the old historical center of the city and busy Paulista Avenue. It’s surrounded by the fancy Higienópolis neighborhood, which makes it a very diverse place. The nightlife along Augusta Street offers visitors a variety of options to dine, dance and be entertained. Roosevelt Square, Consolação's main meeting point, is surrounded by fringe theaters and has become a popular skateboarding area. Right across the street from the square is the elevated highway known as “Minhocão.” Though it is busy with car traffic all week, it shuts down every weekend and becomes a leisure spot right in the middle of the city.

First of all, you must go there for the amazing barman and his unbelievable caipirinhas !! You MUST try one caipirinha at this bar, and you'll see how this guys is amazing. Really. More, they are cheaper there than in common bar around Paulista/Augusta :-) For the other things, rooms are a bit "vintage" (you like or not), but still very large, beds are comfortable, bathroom is totally correct. As described below, location is perfect. The breakfast is really great, for all tastes, continental but also lot of brazilian food. It's really worth it, especially a very nice cooker available to make you really good omelettes and so on. The room service is very good and efficient. On the bad side, you hear perfectly everything that happens in the hall in front of your room and through the windows (even closed). Lifts are not very efficient, I had lot of dust in my room (cupboard, bathroom,...), you have to pay upon arrival (without being warned of this). All in all, perfect stay !

A little bit disappointed by the quality of the rooms but fortunately for Accorhotels group, they can count on their staff to raise the standard of their hotel. a particularly thanks at Wallace (Bartender) for his kindness and the knowledge of his job.

During the check-in it took a little long because there was only one guy at the reception. After almost a half a hour wait we were able to check in. The room was very spacious and clean. Staff was super kind and helpful. Especially the housecleaning lady Sueli Arruda. We had an amazing conversation with her while she was cleaning the room. Normally we would leave the room. But she was so warm and so kind that we loved having a conversation with her. Also she did her job very good! Also the guy at the restaurants named Wallace was super nice. He knew us to convince to try his cocktail. And it was amazing. Super nice service ! Thanks guys !

Nice breakfast, but disgusting coffee spoiled it. Nice large and clean rooms. Could use a gym or something to relax. Quite annoyed to not be able to checking before 14:00 since my intercontinental flight landed at 6am - was very tired and had to wait for hours.
