I have been to Targhee many times and am never disappointed with the snow or the facilities. The lift system is second to none and the mountain and snow are great. I also like the family atmosphere on site, it is just one big family. You like to ski, you can get a lot of vertical feet and varying terrain...

Thanks to generous positioning at the front of the range on mainly north/west aspects the resort at Targhee benefits from excellent snow conditions and distance from Jackson also means the resort typically has fewer visitors than the Jackson resorts (= more powder for you)! AllTrans runs a daily shuttle from Jackson + Teton Village to Targhee, where you find all...

Grand Targhee is one of the most beautiful places I have experienced. The view of Grand Teton from the top is spectacular and on a clear day you can see for hundreds of miles across Idaho. As an intermediate skier I can say that it is a great place to plant your planks for a visit of 3 to 4...

This review is only for their Targhee Lodge building. It's probably the oldest building. Beds were awesome....goes down hill from there. Carpets stained/dirty, visible dust along edges of door and floorboards, MAJOR dust bunnies around bed. For the $$ paid I expected better. Bathroom door stuck and had to be forced to close. Newer flat screen TV, but picture quality...

Here for wedding, place is very dated, poor house keeping, not inexpensive! Booked 2 bedroom unit. One of the two bedrooms was about 8 feet wide! Said two bathrooms, one is a half bath! Just dated, needs complete remodel.

First of all, note that Tripadvisor and Orbitz would like you to believe that his hotel is either 12 or 20 miles from Grand Tetons National Park. Maybe as the crow flies but the drive is at least 40 minutes. It is a somewhat difficult drive through the mountains but the scenery makes it worthwhile and the traffic is light....

We stayed on this property twice, and both experiences were quite different. During our first stay, we had a 2 bedroom condo (we were a party of 8). Condo was clean, lots of space, and a kitchen. Note that the kitchen is very basic : small fridge (undersized for a condo that can accommodate 10 people), only a two-plate stove,...

We stopped here on our way up to Yellowstone. It is a small, fairly plain resort in a very scenic, secluded area near the Tetons. Our room had a queen bed and a set of bunk beds (great for the kids) with a microwave and fridge. The room was small but clean and well furnished and had a nice balcony....

I'm sure this place is great for a winter ski trip. However, for a trip to Tetons & Yellowstone in the summer it is NOT a good place to stay. It was 87 degrees, no air conditioning. Have one small fan with the sun beating down on a big window that only a small portion at the bottom opens. Too...

Room was super clean & quiet. Fun place for a business meeting with some great extra curricular activities like biking & hiking. Outdoor hot tub is perfect for relaxing in the evening. Simple amenities that close early but Driggs, ID & Jackson Hole WY are close if you want to branch out.
