I arrived in Casa Dois Irmaos late at night (a pick-up from the airport was organized upfront). The large room was gorgeous and the view even better. Every morning I was waking up with the sunrise in my window above the city of Rio, with...More
A friend and I spent 4 days here during Carnaval, and loved it. It is situated in the hills of Santa Teresa, with spectacular views of Rio and the bay. It's a small place with only a handful of rooms, so it's like staying in...More
The view as everyone has mentioned is incredible.
Josephine and Kris were natural hosts and provided not only delicious food, but great advice on the city and lovely company. The house was artistic, clean and cozy.
We were both wishing we had more time here!

Had a wonderful evening with friends there. The view from the terrace is awesome! Especially at sunset and night. Jo cooks more than great in her open kitchen - and you have to try one of her cocktails at the bar on terrace :)

Thanks Ira. It was a wonderful to have some ladies in the house!
Santa Teresa is a bohemian enclave hosting many local artists’ studios. The narrow, winding streets of this neighbourhood were revitalised years ago, and visitors can now stroll through this area to view magnificent mansions dating back to the late 19th and early 20th century. A highlight not miss: Museu Chacará do Céu, a former mansion turned museum which houses works by prominent Brazilian modern artists.
