It is obvious from all the cutbacks and airline crews (most guest are flight attendants) that this hotel is struggling. The rooms and hallways all smell musty and likely affected by the black mold. The room amenities are bare bone. No dental, shaving kits or any other amenities beyond soap, shampoo and conditioner. The club lounge is a bare bones one a d without AC. Wanted to order from the in-room dining only to find out that they didn't have the item available that I would have wanted. Uber Eats then. Very bad excuse for a Hyatt affiliated hotel.

Should you have the chance to enjoy the breathtaking RIo de Janeiro take a leap and stay at the Grand Hyatt.It is Sublime.You can visit all the sights at ease both day and night then return to a paradise.Beautifully designed,perfectly situated and very safe.Staff are outstanding.Will make your experience a 10 out of 10.

The suite and the club room were all nicely appointed. The bathroom was well designed with ample space. The twin room felt small but did provide a great view of the beach. The interaction with the front desk staff upon check in was annoying where he wanted to up sell the room. The pool was decent but nothing memorable. The club lounge provided decent spread and alcoholic beverages, including sparking wines with a great view of the lake or the beach. The onsite restaurants were also just OK - quality of the food and the quality of the service were nothing out of ordinary. You also need to call the operator to ask for a pair of sleepers (and they delivered a used ones which led me to wonder whether they reuse the sleeper for next guests or not). All in all, I just remember to have many annoying experiences and interaction with the hotel staffs that I would not bother going back in the future.

We stayed in this hotel from 5th to 10th of this month for Hyundai trip. All the employees of the hotel are extremely good and a lot of them could speak English which made our stay there very comfortable. I would like to thank a few of them M/s Marino Calonio and her associate from front office and Denise and her associate from concierge for their extremely helpful services. Such employees take the reputation of the hotel to greater heights. We are highly satisfied.

Pool side area is good , entrance is not good , not a happing plan , no seat area in there at reception area only 2 chair in lift area and signage after reaching floor are too much confusion , less number of manpower in hotel , need to increase manpower in house keeping and room service
