Great location on Copacabana avenue near the beach. I book the Dethales suite on 4 th floor, incredible with disco ball and private sauna ! All this at about 80 USD. A fake tree backside the bed and many mirrors, extra large minibar at the entrance with 2 chair and one table then a door to the room. right the...

This was my second stay at the Praia Lido Hotel. I came back because of how friendly the staff was, and the location relative to good restaurants, the beach, and most importantly for me, the Metro (business trip!). I'd definitely stay here again IF you are pretty easy to please when it comes to the softness of the bed, or...

If you are looking for a hotel to sleep, shower and be less than a minute from Copcabanna, then this is the hotel for you. I would suggest that you follow up on your booking to make sure that everything is in order as they forget to charge me the correct rate. Something that I noticed and brought to their...

This hotel is a nice hotel for the price. Bedrooms where a little dusty when I moved in but after which were kept clean during my 6 night stay. Nice walk in shower... There are a few steps to climb befor getting to the reception but there is a doorman if you require assistance. Reception had a few different people...

Pros- location, location, location The hotel is located only one block away from the beach. My room had a balcony that faced the main street that runs parallel to the beach. It was nice to be able wake up in the late morning to see how busy the street below was. Breakfast is served there with fresh fruit and coffee,...

My friends and I visited Rio during the week of July 1st for FIFA world cup games. All the familiar hotels were already sold out so we knew we would have to seek a different category hotel. This is a very decent budget hotel, a bit dated but delivered all the must haves: beds were comfortable, room was clean, free...

After been in rio for one week i was very pleased with this hotel one block away from the beach, staff very kind and with an excellent breakfast, better than many luxury hotels. The room was a little small but always clean.

A 3 minute walk from Copacabana. Room small and barely comfortable without sight, noisy, very good breakfast. The furniture is rather old-fashioned. However, it has overall value for money, because the price of about 105 € / night is reasonable compared to other offers. The staff could be more welcoming and friendly, but it is still not dramatic. However, the...

Staying in Copacabana

Neighborhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
