Well located one street back from the famous beach this hotel offers fairly large rooms and generally the service was good however it is a noise hotel and if you need sleep this is not the place for you.

We were a bit unsure of what to expect based on the hotel's star rating, but I must say we were very pleasantly surprised upon arrival and during our stay at this hotel. The rooms are studios with a comfortable bed as well as a sitting area, dining table and a small area with a sink, microwave and mini fridge...

Stayed here for two nights, and was very impressed with the amount of space in the suite. We had a large balcony too which was very nice. The service was great, and the breakfast was adequate. The only thing we noticed was a lack of attention to wear and tear in the hotel. There was peeling wallpaper, carpet stains, and...

My stay here during Rio Carnival was ideal. It was in a great location near the beach, in the middle of Ipanema, near bars and restaurants. The breakfast every morning had plenty of choice including fresh fruits and was nice. The room was clean (cleaned daily), nicely cooled, and spacious, however, there was only 2 pillows on the double bed....

The hotel is in one of the best areas of Ipanema, 2 blocks from the ocean and steps from many shopping and dining options. The rooms are actually studios that include a kitchenette and dining table, The spa is pretty cool too. One downside: if your room faces the adjacent Maria Quiteria street, it's going to be very noisy on...

Great location one block back from Ipanema Beach. A good buffet breakfast daily, rooms clean, tidy, well serviced daily and good size. First night our room faced BarThodomeu where the party continued to 4am, spoke with reception next morning and they changed us immediately. English spoken at reception, very helpful. Recommended.

We rented an apartment in Rio near this hotel through a well-known website, and it was a waste of money. The place was awful , so we, two families totaling 8 people, decided to leave earlier the apartment, and we were lucky to find 3 rooms available at Promenade Visconti. It was walking distance from the place we were, and...

This hotel is great because it is one street away from the beach and because that beach is Ipanema which in my opinion is far more beautiful and relaxing than copacabana. It's also on an excellent bus route to get to main attractions. The hotel is in an upmarket area of great shops and so many eating options. We loved...

I booked this hotel through hotels.com and paid ~US$390 for 3 nights. The room was very big and well-maintained. The hotel staffs are really helpful. I arrived early in the morning at 10am. The room wasn't ready but they offered the pool showers for use. You can change money at the reception which carries the same rate as the cambio...

This hotel is located in a very central area of Ipanema, where you can have easy access to the best bars, restaurants and stores. It is also very close to the beach (1 block) and relatively close to the metro station. Rooms are OK, breakfast good and nice staff.
