Good things about the hostel: - good location close to Copacabana beach area - very nice and helpful reception staff (I especially liked the two of them who work afternoon shift) - not expensive Bad things: - no soap in most bathrooms - not every shower has hot water - sockets for charging phones are located only in one spot... Hostel staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions on what to do in the area. Very good english speakers. Can rent bikes from there or their other hostel further down in Copacabana (or you can rent them via an app in the area). They had no soap in the hostel for our entire stay which was a bit unhygienic.... More

An amazing friendly clean place to stay. I left another hostel because it wasn't nice and came here. I am so happy. Very close to the main hub of Copacabana. Vanessa couldn't have been more helpful. The place is clean and the showers and toilets work. Very happy bunny.

Def best hostel in Copa, I loved how everyone is so welcoming and friendly! I love hanging out in the lobby with the staff, especially Thiago, Jessica and Renata! They gave me advice on restaurants, bars and clubs. It's always a fun party in the lobby and I miss it so much! I'm coming back in December !

I had one day layover to spend in Rio before flying home to my country. I picked this one due to location and convenience but ended up regretting it. Pros: Easy to get to from the airports, close to the metro and the beach. Nice rooftop terrace, but it closes at 10, so you can't chill up there. Cons: No... More

I didn't stay in this hostel because the security or the doorman ho was there was so rude to me and he didn't even open the door to talk to me saying that I arrived very early (7 am) and that the hostel just opens 8 am. that's a very weird rule because hostels all over the world work 24... More

I stayed in this hostel for ten days and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Kudos to Ed, the manager, for assembling, training and directing his staff in excellence of all aspects of guest comfort and satisfaction. Each employee, at all levels, greeted me by name from the second day on! A great location near Posto 3, centrally located in Copacabana. Dorm... More

The staff were very willing to help and offer good advice about getting around the city and good places to go. The location is great too, it's right in the Copacabana district and is only a short walk to both the beach and a metro station.

The furniture and building are kind of old. Good staff, nice and helpful. The localization of it is very good, in the main part of Copacabana neighborhood and very close to the beach (2 blocks). Not expensive at all.

Staying in Copacabana

Neighborhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
