Location is only a few minutes Walking from Copacabana! At Arrival we had wait quite Long for check in. Staff was not very friendly. Rooms are ok. We had troubles with the toilet flush and they could only fix it the next day - which should not happen! Breakfast is good but very busy and you might have to wait... More

Stayed here over Christmas the breakfast is very good the rooms are clean and a good size. I left my camera in my bedside drawer and It was still there when I got back so to me very trustworthy. The reception staff are informative and professional. The pool is a bit small but when you have the beach so close... More

The hotel is wonderfully located. Situated 300mt from the beach and 50 from the main street of Copacabana, it's is nevertheless in a quiet street. The breakfast is quite good and I particularly loved the french toasts. The hotel provides you (on request) with towels and beach umbrella. The wifi is decent even in the rooms. The hotel features an... More

This hotel is NOT a 4-star. When we first got in our room, we found: - the air-conditioning was as noisy as a train, very old - the safebox didn't work - a huge stain on the blanket We protested with the reception, and they gave us another room that was just like the first one (honestly we expected at... Nice, clean room and good breakfast. would have recommended this place if not all three rooms got credit card numbers and cash stolen from the safes in the rooms. Hard to stay in a place were you cant trust to leave stuff in the room, especially in a city were you should not bring your valuables with you.

Excellent hotel for the price. There is a small pool on the first floor. It is good for relaxation after a long day on the beach. A metro station is located closeby to travel to downtown. The area is patrolled by police cars, so it is safe walking back to the hotel late at night after spending time at the... More

Some of the staff is rude and sniggers at guests. Rooms are very small but at least bed and shower are decent. Air conditioning works but noisy. Breakfast is good. There is a small nice gym and sauna which not bad.

The hotel is average - the rooms are not very new but adequately taken care of. breakfast is plentiful - lots of selections, the pool is ok but nothing really special, I prefer the beach obviously - other than it is simply ok for its money. I wouldn't visit here again unless there is budget issue.

noisy, lazy, filthy would describe the hotel in three words. You want to spoil your holidays? Go ahead, be my guest, take this "hotel"! Loved those bloodstins on the pillows and bedcovers, Noise at 6 in the morning unbearable. Third-world tourist trap would be another jovial title for this "hotel" OMG how bad us Rio ? Close to the beach,... More

Staying in Copacabana

Neighborhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
