I have been to Rio for work and leisure several times in the last years - but this time was the best experience I had so far. The hotel is well located in Copacabana, rooms are ok (simple but very clean) and service was outstanding: friendly staff, excellent food, prompt assistance to my requests. Plus, front desk staff speak fair... More

I stayed here over Easter for a week. I was unsure what to expect but was not disappointed. The hotel is in a great location, a 2 minute walk from the main Copacabana beach. Perfect for what we wanted. The hotel was spotless and there are always staff around to assist. The reception staff were friendly and always ready to... More

Stayed at the hotel for a few days during semana santa. The room was very nice and clean, a bit crowded for 3 people, but it was ok. The only thing I do have to say is that there were not enough places to hang things in the bathroom. Amazing location, right between copacabana and ipanema. The fron dask staff... More

Stayed here for 8 nights. Perfectly placed between Copacabana and Ipanema beaches each about a five minute walk. Breakfasts were great -great choice of fruits, breads, hot and cold dishes. The scrambled eggs were to die for. The front line staff Jose Maria,Ivan and Ronaldo were friendly and helpful with trips, tours, advise etc. Made our stay memorable. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location, minutes from BOTH Copa and Ipanema Beach..and the metro station! The hotel is more a 3 star but the staff are top notch. Great wifi, I stayed here 8 days during Carnival and the hotel is on the shuttle route and sells tickets. (However its easily to go by metro) The room has a refrigerator to keep your... More

Nice rooms, easily accessible. Not extremely central though, there aren't many Cafes or food places around (compared to other parts of Copacabana). There was nothing wrong with this hotel, the breakfasts were nice and hotel rooms clean!

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at the hotel and found it decent and clean. The location is excellent - 200 metres from Copacabana beach. The room was clean but the corridor leading to the rooms is rather dark. The lights come on automatically only after a few seconds. Breakfast was standard fare though there was a good selection... Finishing off a group tour a day before Christmas and checking into this wonderful hotel was absolute bliss. We were greeted by helpful staff when we told them our dilemma with a previous hostel. We were given a room straight away (which was actually cheaper than what we were priced online) - three single beds in a clean and decent-sized... More

Great hotel for even better price in the best location, 5 minutes walk to both Copacabana and Ipanema. Extremely clean, great breakfast. Wi-fi spotty. It could be updated, but than the price would jump. Warmly recommended.

We stayed there a few months ago. The place is very old. The bed are horrible. We lost power serval time as well as the water. My friend got stuck in elevator. There are no emergency lighting that work. The staff was as a loss what to do. Go to any other hotel!

Staying in Copacabana

Neighborhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
