Nice hotel which was a clean US style hotel with reasonable amenities and had a safe in the room. It's 3 blocks walk from the Copacabana beach with plenty of little supermarkets and shops around. Breakfast was elaborate with plenty of fresh fruits and local fare. Front staff was somewhat helpful but not the most helpful. The view is excellent... More

Nice stay in Mirador Hotel. Very closed to Copacabana beach. Friendly staff and allways willing to help. A special thank´s to breakfast restaurant host and morning receptionist (sorry but no name bach so is difficult to identify them). Wi-fi in the room (10th floor) not working properly and no glúten free bread on breakfast was the only minus in my... More

Huge breakfast with fresh fruit. Cozy beds except when you sleep on the crack between the two beds (if you get a queen bed it is just two twins pushed together). I felt very safe. Staff was very helpful and spoke English. Tom who was in charge of the pool area was super nice and made excellent Caipirinhas. Had 24... More

Stayed here just before Carnival with my girlfriend. It was the most reasonably priced option that was close to the beach and the reviews were good. We were pleasantly surprised to find our room had a sauna which was handy. The room also had a TV with Netflix which you will need your own account for (luckily I already had... More

Right in th middle of Copacabana, with shops and restaurants everywhere, the metro stop two blocks away and the beach at a five minute walk. View of the Christ the Redeemer from the room and the roofto pool and a great breakfast every morning (especially the cheese breads, boiling hot and delicious). Overall a very good place to stay in... More

This hotel gives the impression you will be looked after, lots of doormen and attentive staff. Breakfast staff are everywhere, selection is ok. Close to subway. Down side, hard as nails beds, sheets are one size too small for the bed, cleaning is non existent, dirty floor for four days. Bathroom junk left on floor, empty shampoo bottles just left.... More

Arrived in Rio and stayed here 3 nights. It was a nice enough hotel. Comfortable big bed. Clean. Good breakfast. Gym was ok. Overall very decent place. Nothing spectacular. Best thing was the location close to the beach. Its a few blocks away only.

Thankfully I booked a room only for a day use as I would not felt comfortable sleeping in my room overnight. I arrived in Rio from another city early in the morning while departing late that night back to the US so the room was meant to be used as day-use to hold my stuff, shower and get ready to... More

Dear Guest, I´m really sorry you did not like your stay with us. My reception informed you that the only room they had at that moment, early in the morning, was at the first floor and you said it was OK because it would be a day-use. Anyway, if you didn´t like it, a phone call to the reception and... More

Staying in Copacabana

Neighborhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
