Thankfully I booked a room only for a day use as I would not felt comfortable sleeping in my room overnight. I arrived in Rio from another city early in the morning while departing late that night back to the US so the room was meant to be used as day-use to hold my stuff, shower and get ready to... More

Dear Guest, I´m really sorry you did not like your stay with us. My reception informed you that the only room they had at that moment, early in the morning, was at the first floor and you said it was OK because it would be a day-use. Anyway, if you didn´t like it, a phone call to the reception and... More

Very good hotel. The only complain is the free WiFi service. It is good at the lobby and restaurant; poor in the floor, at least at 12nd floor. The included breakfast is excellent. The roof pool is small but very nice, with a good bar service.

This is a great and affordable place to stay in Copacabana. Rooms are nicely furbished, clean and come with a large bathroom. WiFi is fast and reliable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is in walking distance to Copacabana beach, many restaurants and shops. I stayed here twice and would definitely come back - great value for money.

We have spent 10 nights in this hotel in May 2014. We got married in Rio and this was our honeymoon. The receptionists cannot speak well in English. They hardly understood us. Our room was huge and very comfortable, but the jacuzzi wasn't work as it was old. We paid for it, but we didn't get this service. Also the... More

Don't be put off by negative reviews. It's not the most luxurious hotel you will ever stay in but it's absolutely fine for the price you pay. No prolems whatsoever. It's clean, rooms are a good size and the breakfast is good. Great location too.

We stayed here as a couple over a weekend in Rio. A well located hotel and staff are helpful, although the hotel and rooms are run down and tired with several issues - our room had a damp smell and the aircon was so ancient that you couldn't adjust the temperature. Walls were paper thin and we had to put... More

We stayed in this hotel for a week. On arrival, the reception staff were excellent- they gave us a map and were friendly and professional. Alex the doorman was also cheery and helpful. Staying in Copacabana

Neighborhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
