We spent 3 nights at this magical place, hidden in Rio among the lagoons. Our friends who came to meet us had no idea that such a magical place existed in the middle of this crowded, bustling city. Sylvia gave us excellent directions, helped us call a water taxi when we wanted to head out, spoke to us in 3...

We thoroughly enjoyed our six nights that we spent here at the start of our trip to Rio as it was such a complete change to our urban lives in England. Christian collected us from the international airport and pointed out various areas of interest on our way to Barra. From there it was into the water taxi and a...

We were a family of 5, traveling with a 5-year-old and an 8-year-old to Rio. We wanted someplace safe, out of the center of the thefts and danger near Copacabana and the Center - this B&B is quiet and secluded, located on an island, on the outskirts of busy Rio. Very safe! The only way to get to and from...

Went with boyfriend and brother and had a wonderful time! Before getting there, it was hard to get an idea of how the place was going to be as a whole, because it's truly unique. Getting in and out of the island reminded me of languid river trips in the Amazon. By the way, the boat service is quick and...

We stayed here for 2 nights in March. It was our favourite place to stay in Brazil. Sylvie was lovely and made us feel instantly at homef. We were lucky enough to have the guest house to ourselves and we did not have to share the pool with anyone which was a bonus for our noisy children. The pool faces...
