Only stayed 1 night here unfortunately, Rafael "Rafa" was managing and gave me so much info about rio and what to do/not to do. Breakfast was here and he served it himself. Wouldn't even let me clean my own dishes which is unheard of in the hostel world. If your in Rio, don't miss out on a great temporary home.... More

This hostel is so welcoming. It is clean and safe. Good breakfast. Great staff!!! I loved my stay as a solo female traveler. It was low season so it was nice and quiet but I dont think this is a party hostel. It is nice and quiet and comfortable. Copacabana is a wonderful neighbourhood. They have good tours and activities... More

The staff at Rio Rockers are absolutely brilliant, they want you to have the best time there and they are always happy to help. The location is just a few blocks from Copacabana beach, near supermarkets, ATM's, restaurants etc. The rooms are good and the wifi works really well. Already looking to come back. The guys on the front desk... More

In my opinion, not having read the law concerning hostelling yet, I think these people had at least the worst behavior I ever taken notice in all of my voyages. I went to Brazil with my girlfriend and stayed from january 8 to february 26, We've visited many cities, towns and villages between Argentina and Brazil and stayed in 11... More

hello sir Pablo, is very bad to us that you had a negative experience in our hostel, but it was for the respect to our guests that we had to remove your things from the room. At the hostel we have rules to follow and we can not prejudice other guests who already had their confirmed reservations. what happened was... More

Had a great time here with friends! The hostel hosts are very friendly and spoke great English. We were on our way to adventures in no time at all! Very close to the beach and party scene! I think that all hostels will likely have the same paper materials to guide you around the city but this hostel really seemed... More

The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. The dorms and bathrooms are clean and maintained. Its close to the beach, the wifi is great and breakfast is ok. The shared dorm with 6 people will cost you 60 Real. A minus is that you have to rent a towel for 5 Real (but I guess people have a habit... More

Having booked a month solo in Brazil from my native UK, Rio Rockers kick started my travels superbly. In particular I can't speak highly enough about the staff there, friendly and helpful, they really helped to set up my holiday experience. The location is ideal and the service was excellent value for money. By far the best place I stayed... More

Staying in Copacabana

Neighborhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
