Charming and hidden guesthouse right in the center of Búzios. We stayed in the upper room with sea view. Very good room. Cama com pillow top. Our main parameter was location and was a great cost benefit. We love it.

Excellent place and if you go alone/more so, right in the center, but close to the beaches. All the staff provided excellent service, especially Julio and Marcia. But, everyone always tries to help you with everything. The breakfast is highly recommended, abundant, I would only recommend that the fruits be kept cold because those of us in the second breakfast shift can hardly eat them because they are so hot. The rest was impeccable, the service was excellent. The room, Studio facing the sea that I had, has a spectacular, unique view. Totally recommended, if you go to Buzios.

Inn of excellent location, a few steps from Rua das Pedras and Orla Bardot, from the cliff of the cinema of Búzios (Gran Cine Bardot). You can walk to the beaches of Osso, Azeda, Azedinha and João Fernandes. We were without a car and to the more distant beaches, like Praia do Forno, we used Uber with peace of mind. Spacious and comfortable rooms, very good breakfast, helpful and polite staff. We earn courtesy from the Inn, welcome drinks and movie tickets. Good gift, since we were celebrating a wedding anniversary. Our stay at the Inn was wonderful, we really liked the place and the city. We'll be back, for sure.

Very nice architecture, attentive staff. Delightful and full breakfast. Courtesy movie theater tickets, which are downstairs. Unique though is not having parking, only agreement with one that is about 10 minutes walk. But the location is great and does not need a car.

I hate to write a bad review, but in the case I feel it is necessary.
I stayed at Vila Do Mar for my honeymoon last year and the staff really ruined our stay there. The hotel itself is nice and well decorated. The location is great as well, right downtown and within walking distance to many great restaurants.
Anyway, the unfortunate part began when they didn't have our reservation, after multiple attempts to pay online and email to confirm it... from there we were put in a room where the A/C unit was leaking and dripping on to the corner of the bed. We got an upgrade in rooms to switch to an 'ocean view' room (great room), but there our camera and cell phone went missing from the room. After checking all possibilities we brought it up with the management and they basically told us to look more, that we had lost it ourselves- which was impossible, as they hadn't left the room. From there things were a bit uncomfortable, the management just stopped talking with us instead of working out the issues. They had no interest in our satisfaction.
It was very unfortunate, because the hotel has so much potential. I have to say that I can not recommend anyone stay there.

I have stayed at this pousada twice in the past and have had a great experience both times. It's a great pousada for people that want to be near the night life of Buzios as it is located basically at the end of the pedestrian street 'Rua das Pedras'. This is the commercial street with lots of shops, restaurants, bars etc. The pousada is on the street that ends at the pier.
The pousada is nice and clean but nothing out of this world. I highly suggest couples to request rooms 1, 3 or 5 as they are nice rooms with a great view out over the harbor. These rooms have a living area with a bar separated from the bedroom. Nice queen size bed in the bedroom with A/C window unit. Breakfast is included and is nice as they generally will prepare what you would like (within the typical scope of a Brazilian breakfast). Not a really big place so maybe not a place for a group.
One thing to keep in mind, though, is that as this hotel is in the middle of all the nightlife, don't be surprised if the sound of the nightlife continues late into the night and early morning hours. If you are looking for a nice quiet holiday, this may not be the pousada for you. However, in the bedroom with the window A/C unit on, the sound emanating from the streets really isn't too bad.
