The cleanest stay we have experienced. The cabin we stayed in was couples cozy retreat and we enjoyed it so much. Wish we could have stayed in the whole trip however too far from our destination. Very beautiful place!

We had a family event take place during September in Afton, Wyoming, and found it difficult to find lodging elsewhere, as we had our 2 small puppies with us. We decided instead of lodging our pups somewhere at a dog boarding place, and staying in a hotel for 3 days, that we would take our camp trailer, and bring our pups with us. We stayed in the RV park portion of the Kodiak Mountain Resort for 3 days, as they had pet friendly accommodations. As far as amenities, all RV hookups were available and top notch, the RV spots were concrete, which among other things, made leveling the trailer a total breeze, and breakfast was available in the mornings in the main lodge. For me personally, the best part of the stay was that we received an electronic bathroom key when we checked in, which had super clean, roomy, and very well-attended bathroom stalls, showers, sinks, and mirrors. If you've ever stayed in a trailer for a few days, you would soon know how wonderful it is to have that bathroom key, even though you're hooked up to full sewer, both during the stay, and while trying to do clean out to unhook and leave. Access to a separate bathroom also made getting more than one person ready for a family event much easier. We absolutely loved our stay and were a little sad it ended as quickly as it had. We are definitely coming back this way, but not just to visit family. We won't stay anywhere else on our next trip to Afton. Thanks so much for your fantastic lodging and terrific accommodations.

The Family Adventure Cabin was perfect for our family as we made our way to Yellowstone! So cozy! Beds were very comfy, pillows were super soft, sofa bed had a posturepedic mattress and the complimentary breakfast was delicious! We would definitely stay again!

This is one of the nicest rv parks we have stayed at. The layout is so well thought out. The roads (gravel) are extra wide and the sites are spacious with a nice lawn area for each space. The way they are laid out you can hardly tell you have neighbors. The office and club house are very nice. The grounds are well maintained. We did not stay in a cabin but they look like an excellent option. Our only criminal is the laundry room. There are two washers and two dryers. No sink, no folding area or table, no change machine. $1.50 to wash and $1.00 for a 40 minute dry. The one washer we used malfunctioned on the spin cycle. They did give us a refund. This is a great place to stay. The town of Afton is a quaint small town with many amenities for food and supplies. You have to take time and go to Shumway Farms and try their farm fresh made on site ice cream!!! The views are awesome. We truly enjoyed our stay. Met some very nice folks which is not unusual at rv parks. We definitely recommend Kodiak Mountain Resort. We hope our travels bring us by here soon and we can stay here again!!!

This place is a 10/10!! Extremely clean and the staff is very nice. You get your own cabin. The cabin we stayed in was amazing. High tech and a home away from home. We wish we could have stayed more than 1 night! The grounds are kept very nice and there is a great play area for kids. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful. An absolute must stay if you are in the area or need a place to stop over. We will be coming back!

The room was super clean and everything was well taken care of. The cabins have a great porch...we sat outside during an amazing thunder and lightening storm. Hot tub was an extra added bonus. Breakfast was substantial as well. I would recommend.

We stayed two nights at Kodiak Mountain Resort RV park in Afton, WY on our way home to Nevada from Yellowstone NP. Kodiak is in the town of Afton, WY which is situated in the Star Valley along Hwy 89, between Jackson and Evanston. The beautiful drive South from Jackson takes you through Alpine, WY along the Snake River. Things to do near Kodiak include golfing, hiking to the Periodic Spring, about 5 miles from town; and, shopping along Afton’s quaint Main Street. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kodiak! If your travels take you along this stretch of Hwy 89 we highly recommend stopping here. The staff were cheery and helpful as we had to push our stay back one day. They took care of that item quite nicely. Definitely would stay here, again. The RV park has level FHU pull-through sites, a bath house and laundry which were both spotless! Very quiet at night and a pretty view of the nearby green hills. The resort area of Kodiak has a SPA, conference room, boutique, playground, cabins, and a mountain top outdoor shop and Star Valley cross-fit building, which is under construction in 2023. Hope to see you at an RV park like Kodiak Mountain Resort in the near future!
