The Metropolitan is a very, very nice hotel. Although I don't think that the hotel is "old," by any means, the owners and the management are trying very hard to replicate the feel of an old fashioned luxury hotel, and mostly succeeding. My only "gripe," as it where, is that the price of the hotel to my mind, for Teresina,...

Excellent hotel, good rooms, even if small, but for a short business trip, it's very OK. Restaurant is nice, fit for a good business lunch. Staff is, let's say, nice, if you don't expect international level, since Teresina is a small interior capital and no touristic attractions there.

The hotel is Ok but there's much room for improvement!!! To start with, no one at the hotel speaks English and this hotel suposed to be for business man. As one of the leading hotels in Teresina, I think that English is a must! Rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The towles are not so new, and they do a...

First time around in the city, and there are not many other options. Based my selection on the reviews here, and they pretty much describe the scene. It is a nicely located, rooms are a bit outdated but clean. A small desk. Wi-fi is decent. Shower is fine. The air con is pointing to the bed, and a bit noisy....

Teresina is a small town in northeastern Brazil, so you're not going to get a five-star Plaza Hotel there. The Metropolitan is a good option, it's not expensive, it's not fancy, but it's perfectly acceptable. The restaurant is decent, the rooms are small, the internet does not work very well, the staff is competent. Just about what you'd expect.

We have been staying at the Metroplitan for business travel for six years and counting and the service and quality of accomodations remains consistently high with little to no staff turnover, The breakfast is as good as you can find anywhere in Piaui, the evning meals are "basic" and basically good and the bar is tremendous fun (as almost any...

this hotel is one of the 2 best options in teresina. But be sure to ask for a room with a double bed otherwise you will have a single one. Room service good and very clean. But the price is very high for an old-fashioned hotel.

A good, just a good hotel. Large, aseptically clean and impeccably maintained rooms offer guests a comfortable stay. Poor selection of toiletry items, tough, which are mostly charged, except shampoo and soap. Shower is great and hot water temperature can be finely adjusted. Pillows on bed are unusually thick. Room wi-fi is free, but not exactly fast. Service is tremendously...

Located in the heart of Piauí's capital, Teresina, the Metropolitan Hotel offered comfort and convenience. The room was clean, spacious and pleasingly decorated. A long and wide granite counter provided ample work space. The staff was friendly and attentive, with matters ranging from helping with wireless internet connection, to printing boarding passes to offering suggestions on sights to see. The...
