We have stayed at this campground several times over the past 15 years - since the new owners renovated and started it up again. It is mostly seasonal campsites but there are a few rental sites. They keep this place immaculate from the firepits to the shower house. It's across the road from public access to Lake Eau Claire. They have a nice store with ice and supplies, along with a fish cleaning shack and a moderate sized pavilion. I would highly recommend this place!

We just spent 4 nights with Ron and Ginger in their campground. We met up with my sister and husband as they bicycle across the country and needed a place close to a fishing lake with showers and close to things to do. I found this campground on Allstay's app and the Travel Wisconsin website, so called to see if there was room for a trailer and bikes. Ron was great on the phone and said he had a spot that would give us room and privacy.

So we headed off hoping the bikers would have an easy ride in to the park. Our timing was great Ron was just showing us the spot as the bikers road into the park.

True to his description the site had a little drive that opened up to a very nice sized site. We set up camp and ran into Augusta for food from the local grocery store, bought a fishing license and went back to relax and catch up with each other.

The lake was across the road from the camp and the guys caught fish every time they went out. There is a small swimming beach and it is shallow so small kids can have fun.

The shower house is pretty new, cinder block and very well maintained, there is also a pit toilet, which was clean and didn't smell, close to the pavilion and playground.

We were invited to join them for the evening beer session and everyone was interested in the bikers adventure, it was a enjoyable evening. We were also included in the father's day coffee and donut breakfast.

Most of the sites are taken by seasonal campers but they were very welcoming and made it a great weekend. I don't usually by shirts from campgrounds but we had so much fun and made great memories I bought one from here.
