We did two nights in Argentina at the property in the park there and two nights here, in the Brazilian side. We should have ONLY done the Belmond. It was perfect in every way. A dream we didn't want to end. Can't wait to come back.

The best part is the location, right on the falls and by staying on this hotel you have access to the falls before and after the park opening hours. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay a great experience, great food and the property is in mint condition. Would love to return.

We were told that was the only hotel actually in the park and was the only place to stay. It was. Luxury accommodation, fabulous service and exclusive access to the falls when the park is closed to the public. A once in a lifetime experience.

When we arrived in IGR the airport on the Argentinian side of Puerto Iguazú we were met by our driver who took us to the Brazilian border where we switched cars and met Eric who helped us navigate the border crossing. After a long Journey we wanted to check in and grab some dinner before getting some rest. Unfortunately, as vegans we had very few options so we filled up the best we could on bread and salad. Even though my wife was tired and just wanted to let it go; I wanted to let the staff know. After explaining our predicament with our dietary restrictions, Bruno at the front desk summoned the Manager of the hotel. The Hotel manager walked us back to speak with Claudio the Restaurant manager to resolve the matter. The next morning it seemed that everybody knew our name and we had multiple vegan options including vegan pancakes. From that point forwards we had wonderful 5 star vegan dishes cooked for us at every meal by chef Clayton. Thanks to other restaurant staff Sarah, and Altair for making us feel so welcome. The hotel grounds are gorgeous and surreal like you’re in an episode of white lotus. The rooms are cozy yet posh with amazing views as we stayed in a Deluxe room. Minibar is free! We used the concierge services to book tours and transfers. The staff who run the concierge desk were all pleasant and accommodating. We booked the Discover the falls and had an amazing time hiking up the falls to the top. Unfortunately, our friendly tour guide Diogo did not add much to the experience. The gift shop at the end of the falls was top notch. The Mancuco Boat Safari is a must. But, dress in a bathing suit and leave your shoes at the dock as you will be drenched from head to toe with water pooled up to your ankles. The next day Jaír drove us to Parque das Aves and regaled us with many interesting facts about the wild life of the area and the beginnings of the bird sanctuary. Sadly, after only 2 nights it was time for Eric to return us to the airport. We had an unforgettable 2 nights at the Belmond and we credit the amazing people who staff this magical Resort for the experience.

This was the last stop on our Brazilian honeymoon and absolutely the highlight of our trip. It was so relaxing and beautiful! The pool was amazing with extremely attentive servers. The spa was just heaven. Being able to access the falls before the park opened and after it closed with almost no other people around made this experience priceless. Admiring the wonder and power of the falls with my husband alone is an experience we will never forget. I highly recommend this hotel for many reasons and hope to come back again soon.

The Belmond Hotel Das Cataratas is a place you just have to visit at some time in your life, with it's stunning building, amazing gardens and swimming pool area. I would say to enjoy the falls exclusively at night and in the morning, leap into the huge pool and enjoy a caipirinha on the side. Staff are welcoming and the place smells gorgeous x

Top notch luxury with near private access to the natural wonder that is Iguazu Falls. The hotel is situated inside of the National park so you have access before it opens and after it closes. You can walk about and see the early morning rainbows before the tour busses arrive, and watch the evening sunset after they have gone. Das Cataratas has top service and pays a lot of attention to details to make your stay comfortable and memorable. The meals for buffet breakfast and lunch are delicious with lots of options and fresh fruit. Don’t miss the Talapia ( Brazilian crapes ) that are made to order at breakfast. We don’t usually stay at such high end properties but our visit here was so wonderful that I think that I’ll have seriously consider doing it more often.

YES!!!!!: Service: Impeccable. Nothing is a challenge. If they dont have an answer for you they will find one. Every interaction felt genuine. Not pretentious or fake no matter who you spoke too. Pool: outstanding Breakfast: everything you need plus a few things you've never tried. Dinner buffet: They had pescatarian and veggie options. It was good not great. Dinner Itaipu: This was great and filling. Grounds: immaculate Falls: This is the point of staying here. HAving the park accessible to only the hotel guests in the morning and evening should not be understated. It was AWESOME. Those times the park is also teeming with wildlife. • however you must visit both sides. The Brazilian and Argentina side. Very different. HMMMMM...: Rooms: adequate. WE had deluxe room. One step below you would've felt cramped. Our particular room was configured weird. HArd to manuever between bedroom and bathroom. But then again you are barely ever in your room. Boat ride: Many reviews rave about the speed boat tour. We did not find that exciting. However, if you do go the facilities are extremely well run, clean and ultra organized. You must sit in the first two rows to get the full experience. They film videos of you that they sell to you. Only the people in the first two rows are seen. WE unfortunately in the back. It is advised not to bring phones however a simple waterproof case over your phone and it will be fine. I would not bring a camera however. You do get soaked. Luckily the Belmond provides you with a waterproof poncho. Bird Sanctuary: It is worth going. Really well laid out and easy to walk around. The food their is outstanding. Lots of varieties of birds. Lots to see. Too many highlights to point out. Any time i see animals in cages it's a little unnerving as you are in a rainforest. Why are animals in captivity but then again these birds are apparently rescued so I get it.

Great hotel located in the heart of the national park. Easy access to a grandiose view of the famous Iguazu Falls! Very stylish interior - tiles, flowers, carved furniture, snow-white bed ... Great service! The reception staff is very welcome and helpful, friendly cleaning and restaurant staff. Polite, responsive, friendly! Special respect to the waiter Heng! In addition to his helpfulness and charm, he also spoke to us in our native language! We are delighted! Hearing native speech on another continent is very, very nice! Easy couple of more stars to the hotel! The food is excellent too. Great variety - both in the morning and in the evening! And every day something new! And everything is very tasty. By staying in this hotel we got the most pleasant and enthusiastic impressions. Thank you very much! Already from another continent we want to come back here again)
