An interesting, "funky" place. While the room was adequate, the safe did not work (we were not offered another room) the pool had no water. Breakfast was OK and it was nice to have a romantic little restaurant and bar just across the hall (where you are likely to find French expatriates). Was not within walking distance of any other... good morning, Thanks for yours comments about our hotel. Unfortunately do you stayed during the time that we clean the pool (every year at the same time). For the safe I apologize and if they did'nt give another room it was because the hotel was full. I hope that if do you come another time we can give something better.... More

Great hotel. Great staff. Super hotel owner. We felt at home directly. This place allowed us to relax and power up for a serious upcoming business year. The restaurant also a nice place to eat. Love this place would definitely recommend it. The pool is not really for little kids. As my daughter is 1 year old so you need... More

Very nice hotel for who wants to explore the city and take a nice swim in the pool afterwards. Amazing breakfast with brazilian treats. We had a very nice weedend here. The meat was a little bit raw but very nice dinner. Love the tropical look.

We stayed for five nights at Le Massilia and enjoyed our stay very much. Even though the street is unsightly, the location is great (so much so that Holiday Inn is building a property just around the corner), a block and a half from Theatro da Paz and walking distance (we are good walkers) to many of the most popular... The hotel was in a good location with a nice relaxing pool and large-ish rooms, although the condition was not amazing. The restaurant was good but suffered limited options. The breakfast was simple but fresh and varied, and the area was quiet so a good nights sleep was ensured (apart from the children running along the balcony!)

Lots of character to this place. There is surprisingly few choices of accommodation in Belem. This is great value for money, located just off the main square. Staff are the owner were more then helpful. Very clean and comfortable.

Everything was clean. Staff were helpful and happy to look after luggage after I checked out. A location in the center off the town, near by the parc, opera, the Dock's. The French restaurant located in the hotel is excellent, good food, with a romantic atmosphere.

Great location for everyone who want to know Belém, close to the República Square and there are buses to many cool places to know. Staff very helpful, some of them speak english or french and when someone only speak portuguese they try to inform and communicate the best way possible with non portuguese speakers.

Located just out side of the hustle and bustle of Republica square this small French run hotel is perfectly situated. Walking distance to a lot of sightseeing places it makes a good choice. The swimming pool, the breakfast and the helpful and friendly multi lingual staff (Portuguese, French, English) makes it a excellent choice in Belem. The rooms are clean... More

In the heart of the city, walking distance to Ver O Peso and the Center, also the fort.We were picked up on time at the airport by a taxi driver. Couldn't have been easier. It was very clean and very quiet and a good value. Good service, too. Breakfast was nice. I would definitely go back.
