We were in Brazil for the World Cup and got badly fleeced by FIFA for our hotels! But the hotels in Belo and Rio were at least decent....but this was the worst hotel we ever stayed! Dirty small cubicles were called rooms..there was hair on the floor and in the bathrooms etc. The breakfast was of very poor quality and...

Brasilia Imperial Hotel is conveniently located downtown in walking distance to Estadio Nacional, markets and shopping mall. Farooq is a very helpful staff member and appears to be the only person that speaks English. Consequently he had a full time job assisting with guest queries. Rooms are bright and spacious with good TV picture. My bathroom was dodgy as the...

Paid R$ 500/day for a double room. Considering that price I expected much more. There is no free internet in the room (at least they were honest in advertising it). Replacement of food in the breakfast buffet was poor. Cleaning could be better as well. There was no flat sheet on the bed and I am not sure they wash...

We arrived today at the hotel, we had an early flight so we couldn't check in until 14:00, checking in took more than half an hour, because there was a huge line of all the people that where in the same situation, and then the receptionist didn't know how to use the computer which took 15 minutes until another guy...

As a first time visitor to Brasilia, I really had no idea what to expect from accommodations there. Prices found through internet search seemed elevated, so I eventually took a chance on booking a smallish property located within walking distance of the TV Tower. The room was adequate, but unadorned. It was a bare bones existence for four nights. And...

A very basic room, no bedside lights even, but for the price and for a one night stay perfectly acceptable. Breakfast also fine and staff at Reception very helpful. We particularly chose the area as it was near the TV Tower where the city bus tour starts from (at 10.30am). Across the road is a huge shopping mall with great...

If you want to go back to your days when you and your buddies slept wherever you could, this is the place for you!! This is like staying on a cheap motel in the middle of no where. The hotel is so bad, that I could hear the guy next door snoring!!! I'm amazed how high this thing is rated!!...

I was booked into this hotel by local contacts, who were working to a pretty tight budget. I was there for three nights, one would have been enough! I have to say that it didn't leave me with a particularly positive impression of Brasilia. The hotel restaurant only seemed to be open at breakfast (which, to be fair, wasn't too...
