One of the best Hostels you will find will travelling in Brazil. The recently extended Tirol Hostel is owned by Gaucho a Brazilian with German ancestry. He can speak German fluently. His location is perfect right next to the bus terminal "Fretcar" and not more than a few mins walk to anywhere. If you are looking for a clean well...

We are travelling around South America as a late twenties/early thirties couple and we stayed in Hostel Jeriocara in an 8 bed dorm for 2 nights. We enjoyed our stay in this hostel as we got to meet lots of people as there are lots of areas to sit and relax or drink as well as a kitchen to cook...

Great location, great chill out area with hammocks and chargers next to the hammocks. Breakfast was nice. Beds were made everyday and rooms were clean. Laundry service at the hostel was so easy and everything came back. Gaucho is so lovely with such a gentle and kind nature. Nothing is a problem for him and always is around to help...

Really good location (right beside the bus stop, 24 hour bakery and a supermarket) with a very helpful and knowledgeable owner.. The common areas are strewn with hammocks so there are lots of places to relax.. There is also a nice swimming pool to cool off in and a well equipped kitchen.. Great hostel to meet other people and we...

I stayed here for 5 nights in December and it was exactly what I needed. There are always fun international people to hang out with. The hostel itself is not a party hostel, which means that if you want to sleep, you can. If you want to go out though, most people will be down for that. The breakfast was...

I can't find anything bad about Tirol! The bedrooms are good, spacious and offer big lockers. There is an outside area with a pool. There are hammocks to rent as well in case you are traveling very low budget or need to save some money for some days. They organize a huge barbecue twice a week. It's about five minutes...

You can't expect much from hostels in Jeri. This place is good, but not great. Pros: Good location, lockers have a good size, nice hang out area with hammocks, good breakfast, good outside shower Cons: No air conditioning, bathrooms falling apart, bad showers (best to take your shower outside). Gaucho tries to sell the tours but doesn't help much with...

This hostel is amazing! We spend four days here and we really felt like home. The hostel contains a lovely common area with a lot of hammocks where everybody are hanging out. It's a awesome place for meeting other travellers and there's a cosy atmosphere. Gaucho and rest of the staff are sooo friendly and helpsome. Gaucho is very nice,...
