The room was small, the walls didnt block the noise, some flies during all day, but if you uderstand that you are in a small sand vila in the corner of Brazil, it is an excellent place to stay. We were there with our 2 years old son, and they were very friendly with him, the staff always taking care... More

One of the best hotel that I have ever been too. Really clean, stuff was extremely nice and helpful and they provide us with lots of useful information. Breakfast was really good and you have many things to choose from. A hotel is a bit out of the loud center but since Jeri is really small, you need a bit... More

Went for a weeding in August 2015. Entire Pousada was for us... Well decorated hotel, home feeling is well defined, you feel at home from check in to check out. Staff are amazing. Barmen, reception, kitchen, housekeeping, etc... They all take care of you very well... Hotel is very well maintained days and night and the room are closed with... More

We stayed over New Years at Villa Jomael for a much needed escape to paradise with a group of friends. The villa was truly amazing : beautiful design, relax and zen atmosphere, big luxury rooms, delicious breakfast, all the service from La Villa next doors when needed and just a few minutes walk from La Duna Do por Do Sol... The staff was great!! but everything else was not so good, Beware of cheap rooms are really small and there is hardly flow shower let alone hot water !! There is no privacy in the rooms and you can hear everyone talking outside. Every night I was awakened by yelling or talking to other vacationers. Breakfast reasonable,Hard bed, uncomfortable even... This Vila and Vila Jomael are co-managed and adjacent. Vila Jomael is the newer 5 room property and is 5 star chic with lots of wood, stone and white couches. Guests of V Jomael breakfast at La Vila and can use both beautiful pools. Staff are welcoming and go out of their way to be helpful. Both properties have dune... More

On the edge of town, this pousada's outlook is towards the sand dunes, making it a quiet location where you can almost pretend you are in isolation. The villas are simple and beautiful, decorated in calm natural colours. The pool is pleasant and if it wasn't for average dinner meals, you might be tempted never to leave the vicinity of... More

The hotel is nice, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is nice, the pool is nice... The structure in general is very good. The only down side of it, it is the location, you don't really have a cool view of the beach, and it is far away from the center of the village. You can just see the dunes.... More

We were 3 girls sharing a room on the first floor near the laundry area. In general I loved the Pousada and the staff was really friendly. The breakfast was good, the pool area was nice enough, where you can see the Sunset Dune and part of the Sunset itself. It's probably the farthest pousada from the village center, but... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Facing the dunes of the Jericoacoara national park, La Villa blends the warm and authentic spirit of Brazilian pousadas with the simple elegance of European refinement. Ideally located a few steps away from the beaches, shops and restaurants, La Villa is far enough away from the very center of the village to offer the best views of the area and preserve the peacefulness of its surroundings. A wood and straw construction designed by a Brazilian architect, La Villa’s open spaces are filled with such natural elements as sand, flowers and coconut trees. Its comfortable atmosphere is set as much by its cozy rooms, large swimming pool and bar as by its accomodating staff and wide range of guest services. ... more   less
