I stayed in this place because I had no choice, but I was in a hostel before was better and much cheaper. This hotel room was dirty, they gave me a used and dirty towel to dry me off the bath, the air conditioning had so dirty filter that does not work right. In the bathroom the shower did not heat and gave shocks. I do not recommend this hotel.
Except for the location (very close to the beach) and the manager's efforts, all the rest seemed poor to me. It was smelly, noisy, out of food for the breakfast (included) if you aren't amongst the first in the morning. I wouldn't go back there again.
This hotel is the best if you want total value. It is located in a great location just 1 min from the beach. We were arriving with a wheelchair at 2AM in the morning but Donal the Manager made sure to communicate to us via email that we would have a ground floor suite and confirmed our late check in. Though there is no ramp, the staff were ready to help carry the wheelchair and person up the couple steps. We had an issue with our taxi driver and because we don't speak a whole lot of Portuguese the front desk staff helped us resolve. We booked a triple room and had 1 double bed with a bunk bed. The room is exactly what we expected for the rate we paid. It was perfectly comfortable for a nights rest. The stand up shower and rain shower head was awesome! In the morning a buffet breakfast was provided: fresh juices, ample selection of fruits, breakfast cakes, scrambled eggs, sliced wieners, coffee, tea... I can't say enough for the value that you will get when you arrive.…
Fortaleza was our last stop in Brazil. We were supposed to arrive early morning and lave early evening the following day. I have booked one night with Delphia. The manager (speaks English) was extremely nice, he was able to do a super early check in (9am) and a later check out (4pm) at no extra charge for us (Thank you for that!!!!). He offered us to have breakfast (included) in the first day, which we haven't really paid for. So I'm very pleased, I think service makes a huge difference. Overall the hotel is average for it's rating and price, nothing spectacular, nor nothing bad that I can say. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is fairly good (especially compared to what we were offered in Rio, Foz and Manaus). The location is good, less than 100m to the beach, which is the CLEANEST in that area. As you get closer to the var scene and the port, the beach becomes very dirty, but there is more life in that area. It's a 20-30 minute walk to the port, or a 10 minute walk to the bar scene and souvenier stands from the hotel. We came there for the beach, so it was perfect. However, if the point of visiting Fortaleza was shopping or bar hopping, there are better locations for that.…
