Except great location, this hostel was absolute mistake. First of all the owner puted her teenage niece to deal with the guests (herself she is always lying in common area watching movies very loudly) who doesn't speak neither english neither spanish. Communication was very poor but suddenly last day we found out that there was one person who was english speaker- was just too lazy to help us out. Kitchen has absolutely no needed equipment. Wifi doesn't work properly just in common space but there anyway you can not focuse on your stuff because owner is putting music or movies super loud. Rooms are not clean, my sheets had holes everywhere. Fans on the sealing were making noise like nail scratching blackboard. Toilets were not clean as well. But cherry on top was the fact that they charged us 15R each for storing our backpacks after check out. I do not recommend this place to anyone, you can find so much better hostels in this area.

I spent 3 nights in the hostel and had a great time. The hostel is very clean and nice to chill around there and the location is perfect, right in the historic center. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even without asking. I would definitely recommend this place. Obrigada! Bar
