We came to Acai Hostel with pretty high expectations, looking at the pictures and reading all the good reviews. Unfortunately, the hostel could not fulfill them. The room was nice, with a comfy bed plus curtain for some privacy, good ac, a locker and a plug plus lamp for each

I was in a hostel about a 5 min walk from Acai Hostel and the first opportunity I had I moved. Açaí Hostel in Salvador is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Each bed had its own Capsule with a curtain. In your own space they provided you with a lock and key for all of

"The dorms are a great way to meet other travellers and have a good amount of space to keep your stuff."
"Away from the 6 am fireworks"
"The rooms facing the street are noisier."
"All the rooms are great with huge spacious bunk beds that don't touch each other so you don't get woken up by moving "neighbours" in the night, there are bedlamps and ventilators in each bunk bed space and they all have their own little curtain so you really have your own private space. Amazing beds."
