We visited this restaurant on Christmas Day and chose it as it looked very nice from the outside and there was a lovely terrace with a great view across the bay. Apart from that the rest of our experience was a terrible disappointment. I ordered a speciality house salad which was supposed to come with a chef's homemade dressing. The... More

They don't care about their customers. Tonight at the bar we asked for two “mixed salads”. Although the kitchen warned they were out of lettuce, the salads came with only half of the ingredients on the menu. We asked for a discount for that and the and receptionist called the manager twice, but mrs. Eliene REFUSED to come talk to... More

The place has a nice view, but they don't care about customers at all. After having a bad dinner experience, I tried to talk to the manager (someone called "Dona Eliene"), but she refused to come to the front desk to solve the problem and did not show up. The hostess couldn't handle the problem herself and called the manager... More

We went with my friend for a drink, then we had some apetizers as the chef was Japanese. So it was nice for a change. The staff was very friendly and the owners too. We had good food, good service and we stayed until the sun went down. Great view on Salvador's port and sea. The hotel bar is well... More

Hotel: Extremely noisy, owners children sleeping in the lobby, running and screaming around the hotel at insane hours. With the lack of soundproofing, you can hear everything that is happening on the ground floor from the cleaning staff to the kitchen prepping breakfast. Rooms: Dirty + no sheets Restaurant: Waited 1h30min for our food even though we were the only... More

This hotel is the dirtiest hotel I have ever been in. Sheets, towels - everything was dirty. No air conditioning and supposedly no one speaks English. When things were stolen from our friends room and we called the police, all of a sudden the Manager started to understand English. The Manager lives in the hotel and our friends shoes were... More

We booked this hotel as it is located in the Historic area of Salvador which to any one visiting Salvador is a must see. The hotel is small but has a great terrace over looking the port and Bay which is a lovely place for supper. The food is pretty much cooked to order and subject to what they have... More

Tranquility is the one word that comes to mind when I think of this wonderful hotel, where I spent a week. The design and decors are beautiful, created by the German owner himself, a former student of architecture. The rooms are large and comfortable with high ceilings, and due to the open-to-the-winds layout of the building, the fans are all... More

The room's decoration is nice, but there's no air conditioning. (Only one suite has it). It's almost impossible to sleep in the heat of Salvador without it. Apparently the only people who speak english are the owners. A Brazilian woman and a guy who apparently speaks german as his first language. They are not there all the time and the... More
