We visited the hotel in July 2016. Good boutique hotel with good breakfast. Our room had no view at all, when we opened the window, it was a wall 3feet from our window. The doors are very thin so you hear everything in the mornings. But overall very good hotel.

This small hotel has an excellent location on a major square in the historic center of Salvador. The hotel is a converted mansion and the design is innovative. The rooms can be a bit small so guests with massive amounts of luggage may find it difficult to find a flat surface. The stairs are also steep to the second floor... More

For a small boutique type hotel, it offered the most amazing free breakfast layouts imaginable, and with Jorge at the bar, the caipirinhas are top notch. The rooms are small but comfortable and cozy. The staff were ever helpful. If you’re looking for every amenity and comfort feature known to mankind, then this is not the place for you. As... More

This hotel is at the corner of the praca de Se in the pelourinho neighborhood. As we were just staying a for a couple of days in Salvador (on our way to the Chapada Diamantina), we wanted a hotel close to the most colonial part of Salvador (pelourinho) so we could explore. This location was it! very close to the... More

The hotel is stylish and unique; service is OK, the rooms are nice, breakfast is good (even the the service at breakfast is not). However, I wouldn't recommend the hotel purely on the location - Pelourinho is dirty and dangerous, especially at night. The street behind the hotel has drug dealers and prostitutes. Next time in Salvador, we will stay... More

Very nice and stylish hotel. staff us very friendly, speaking english and french and room was clean and big. wifi is working well, and the hotel is very well located in Pelourinho I would recommend though to stay in area like Barra which looks more nice than pelourinho, but if you really wants to stay in this historical area, then... I got to Bahiacafe hotel after 5 hours journey from Morro de Sao Paulo. I loved the style, the decor, all the white linen and fine bed. The breakfast and specially the nice treatment of the reception team: Leads on Teles and Wellington Silva. In spite there was no elevator..they climbed the stairs with the suitcases nicely. I certainly recommend... More

Beautiful and cozy litlle hotel in a colonial building. The staff were really nice and friendly, breakfast was quite nice, although they should install a couple of fans in the dining room as the heat and humidity are quite high. One advice: when booking, inform them how fit you are. We were given a large nice room, with ac, but... More

I wanted to stay in the typical colonial building in the center of Pelourinho and picked this hotel. It was a good choice. The location is unbeatable, right on Praça da Sé, 100 m from bars and restaurants. We found the area very safe and sometimes came back just before midnight, no one disturbed us. During the day you can... More

We were pleasantly surprised. We paid high rates due to carnaval weekend but it was worth it. Comfortable, cozy and family-like treatment by staff. Great location to walk around and explore pelourinho---favorite neighborhood in salvador.
