When we were in Manaus years ago we saw a wonderful folkloric type show with singing and dancing. Does anyone know if these shows are still being performed?
When we were in Manaus just over a year ago, the organizers of our tour arranged a show of folkloric dance called Bumba Meu Boi with the climax of the show being a dispute between Garantido, a red, and Caprichoso, a blue, bulls.

Do the rooms have refrigerators?
I stayed in an "old" room and it had a mini-bar and A/C. But try to get a remodeled room near the front desk or the restaurant. Otherwise you could walk 5 to 10 minutes. It's a spread out hotel.
