Hotel was good. Breakfast buffet is okay. They don't have restaurant for lunch or dinner. Design is old but nicely maintained. In case of electricity failure they don't have DG back up. Staff is limited . Location is good . Airport bus drop there directly.

Thank God we were only there for one night connecting flights to Rio. I try to be nice in reviews but I would never suggest this place to anyone other than young backpackers on a budget. It has a nice location convenient to sights and dining, and the staff is friendly. But the actual rooms are old, outdated, spartan and... More

Me and my friend paid basically hostel price to stay here; even though the place is outdated, our room (603) was really spacious and clean. The mattress is not the best, so if you have a soar back, I do not recommend. The room had fairly good air conditioning and amazing view of Manaus. The staff is really polite and... More

Dear Sir, good afternoon. First thank you for taking your time to help us in the necessary improvements. No comments and reviews of our guests we can not detect all the points. Sorry for the issue of bed and we will check it. As well as the air lifts. I like that the rest of your stay was pleasant and... More

This hotel has clearly passed its sell by date. It was tired, dirty and neglected. The staff were hopelessly incompetent. The beds were uncomfortable. The a/c didn't work. The breakfast was cheap and tasteless. If I had arrived in my car I would slept in it instead.

We booked this hotel in advance before we came to Manaus. Not to many of the staff spoke English, but there was one guy who did, and he was usually around. The room was big and nice. The bed was comfortable. The hotell has a small gym (only a pec-dec + a spinning bike) so i just used it for... More

Hotel is a little outdated, but it seems to be well kept up. It was clean, and the staff was very helpful/friendly. Very good location, within walking distance to many areas. Not an extravagant place, but a decent one that you won't regret.

No hot water, the place is crawling with bugs, the windows have not been washed since 1955, the Wifi doesn´t work well or not at all, and the place is FILTHY ! ! ! I had one day with no hot water, another with no air conditioning. The bar is not stocked and does not have sufficient inventory. If you... More

I had the BEST view of Manaus and the Opera house from my room, #1214 if I am not mistaken. The hotel is old and need some TLC. A pool for a hot day is not too bad. A revolving restaurant for dinner or lunch also an option. Nothing to brag about it but if nothing else to do, just... More

I stayed at the Taj Mahal Continental Hotel for 1 and 1/2 days this month and all the other reviews for the most part have it right: it is old and in need of some care, but for me the staff really made up for it (I had read some bad reviews of the staff but I had no such... More

This hotel is only 1 block from the Manaus Theatre and square. It is walking distance to the market (a must see market) and many local sights.
