We stayed at this hotel before a cruise trip on the Amazon. The hotel is situated near the harbor (10 minutes walk with luggage), in a dark and not very nice street. It's pretty worn down and definitely not a good deal. Very poor wifi and poor breakfast. We walked to the square where the Amazon theatre is, which was... More

The receptionist didn't speak English but we managed to communicate ok. The rooms were sparse, our second room at the end of the trip on the ground floor better than that on the 2nd. The lift seems frequently out of order. The Wi-Fi works periodically, better in the mornings. One of the twin beds was very hard and the other... More

If you want to stay downtown Manajus, this is the place to go. US$ 25 for a double room with excellent breakfast can't beat any place. Decent English speaking reception and room service will take care of you and won't bother you to do one of those creepy jungle tours, what you might suffer in other hotels downtown. Not to... More

I stayed here during World Cup 2014. The rooms are small. They need renovation. Some we're being renovated then. The breakfast was descent and homely. We never missed it. For this rate and being close to ( not so close ) amazons it was indeed a good take. We were out for couple of days for amazon tour so didn't... More

Sure there are some significantly better hotels in Manaus, however if the go with low expectations the hotel is fine. I stayed here in June for the World Cup, so there wasn't many alternatives than here. I paid £35 per night which was reasonable for the time that I was staying. Yes there are multiple negatives such as no hot... More

We were looking for a place to stay just one night before we went on a trek of the amazon and found this hotel. Because we were staying only one night we thought it not as important and the price looked right. What a mistake! The room we were given had a very tired mattress with plywood stuck in to... More

We stayed at this hotel before and after our trip to the Amazons. Basic basic hotel providing no amenities - including hair-dryer. On the morning before our departure, I took my last hot shower before going into the jungle, where there was going to be no hot water supply. Half way through my shower, hot water went out together with... More

Stayed just one night before going to jungle (R$95). The hotel is a short walk to the Theatre and located in a shopping district, so was very quiet at night when everything closed. Hotel rooms were clean and good air con, which was needed when we were there. The mini bar had very reasonable prices. The breakfast was really good... More

We spent 3 days 2 nights on a tour with Elso and Rodrigo. It was incredibly well-organized. Elso and his wife picked us up from the airport, even though our flight got in very late. Elso and Rodrigo were incredibly well-informed about the jungle. They have a special talent for spotting animals too! We saw so many incredible things. The... More

We stayed there on either side of a 3 day amazon trip with Amazon Green Tours (which was great). Both times our room was clean, the breakfast was the best I had in Brazil by far (try the coconut cake), and the minibar was reasonably priced and convenient. It's an easy walk to the Opera House as well.
