The Tritsch House Bed and Breakfast is a beautifully restored Queen Anne. We feature five guest bedrooms all of which have private bathrooms, and three with private two-person Jacuzzi hot tubs. All of the rooms are lovingly decorated and feature a large flat screen TV for your enjoyment. Come and relax on one of our four porches and enjoy the river views, or just catch some sun. In the morning, enjoy a deluxe homestyle breakfast.
My husband and I stayed just one night on our way through Alma. We were greeted warmly and had everything we needed. The view from upstairs is spectacular. Playing pool was a fun option pre-retiring to our room for the night. Beautifully restored and decorated home. We will be back.

My aunt rented out the whole place for a wedding/reunion. It was perfectly situated and a view of the river. Very quaint, Victorian house with cute charm. All the rooms were nice. Pool table was fun in the evenings. Loved the stained glass windows, porches for morning coffee, and enormous kitchen.

My family (10 people) rented the entire Tritsch House the first weekend in June. We were in the area for a wedding. What a beautifully maintained, historical house in a charming river town! Everything about our stay was great—dealing with John was easy, he answered all questions promptly. His father met us at the house and helped with logistical questions. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the huge, well appointed kitchen for making group breakfasts and relaxing on the porches. The location is perfect for exploring Alma with easy access to Winona or Wabasha. Highly recommended!!

We spent the night in the beautiful Tritsch house. Lovely furnishings, friendly staff, and a great breakfast. My only complaint was the train that whistles through the town all night long. I think you'd hear it from any location in Alma, so if that bothers you, head off the river road.

My wife surprised me with a 2 night stay in the Walser room for my birthday (our first celebrated birthday as a married couple). We loved the room, amenities, and Johnny was an attentive and fun host. The breakfast was very yummy and the right amount of food and variety. We enjoyed billiards both nights. The house is an exciting, well preserved/restored, Queen Anne Victorian. The cleanlinessBe sure to bring a camera!

This is our "go to" Alma accommodation. Johnny is a fun down to earth kind of guy that has done a great job of maintaining a beautiful historic Victorian home. The rooms are very nicely furnished and very comfortable. We love watching the river from the cute second floor porch with a glass of wine. The best meal in town has to be the huge breakfast Johnny and Karissa make for you. We always feel refreshed and renewed and well taken care of after a visit here.

We had a great stay in the Belle of Alma room. Johnny was a great host, and even took us around to his favorite spots in Alma when we met him and a friend out one night. He is clearly someone who takes pride in both his business and his town. The room was very comfortable, and both the breakfast and the company of the other guests was excellent. We will happily stay here again in the future!

What a wonderful 1902 home beautifully furnished! We stayed in the Belle of Alma room. Nice view of the River with a small porch right off our room. Johnny and Carissa are amazing hosts. Sitting in the kitchen while they prepared our breakfast each morning was such fun! The breakfasts were amazing. Johnny's mom's homemade raspberry jam and salsa were special treats. A beautiful place in a beautiful area.

We checked into the Tritsch House on April 29th with a warm welcome and a beautiful space. Johnny took us on a quick tour and we settled into the Belle of Alma Room and enjoyed the view and comfortable accommodations. After enjoying a relaxing evening and beautiful sunset we woke the next morning to the smell of breakfast cooking in the kitchen. Johnny greeted us with a smile and a delicious breakfast. We had a great time for our first visit to the Tristch House. We plan to return! Anne and Lowell
