Stayed here for 1 night last September (sorry been busy since we got back!) during visit to Sun Island which is beautiful. remote and well worth a visit. Lovely rustic lodge in great setting with stunning views over the lake. Food and lodgings fine with clean and cozy (small) rooms. Friendly staff and happily recommend but it's all about the...

to be honest, it's a nice hotel or lodge. but not more. the trip to the island may be nice, the island itself also...but the hotel is somewhat over-rated. staff is very friendly. there is about one room with a view to the lake, all others don't have any view. we were the only guests in october - the rooms...

Situated on Sun Island, this eco-lodge is reached by a 30 minutes hydrofoil ride from Copacabana. The setting on Lake Titicaca is stunning. There are no roads on the island, so guests have to trek uphill for 45mins or so to reach the lodge. This requires a reasonable level of fitness as the lodge is situated at over 13,000 feet...

This is a very basic and rustic lodge that requires a climb up a steep and long set of steps hewn out of rock to get to from where the hydrofoil lets you off. Given the altitude of 12,600 feet we were puffing even though in great physical condition so do take your time. There are a series of rooms...

If you're going to come here then you need to be clear what you're getting. You're on an island in Bolivia in the middle of a lake where there is no wifi and the electricity might go off. It's not a 5 star experience and you're not going to get one - if that's what you were expecting then Bolivian...

This is a great spot to stay for a night if you visit Lake Titicaca. It is located on the hilltop - originally a large vacation home, now converted to a charming hotel. As far as we know, this is the only decent lodging on the island. This is the place to stay if you you want to chill (not...

We loved this little lodge. I think it is the nicest of any places on the island. If you are a walker or hiker, you will love this location. The rooms, though now fancy, are very clean and comfortable. There are even electric blankets on the beds! I would describe the lodge as rustic but very comfortable. It is quite...

We stayed here in April for one night as part of the lake titicaca trip. Maybe my view is somewhat influenced by the weather as it was raining. The room feel cold and wet. Even the door is difficult to open, which I had to call my friends to 'rescue' me by kicking the door open. The light in the...

There is nothing too special about this hostel. It was a nice place, but there are tons of other hostels on the island and this one is near the top of the mountain and quite and intense hike to do at altitude while carrying bags.

From the hydrofoil jetty the path up to the hotel is fairly steep and because of the altitude the hotel porter brings an oxygen bottle on his back, unless you are the lucky one to be riding the mule ! Lovely welcoming staff who do all the registration formalities under the shade of a tree in the little garden. Bedrooms...
