Great value, small, clean and quite hotel with exceptional service. Sead at the reception was great and very helpful. During the night it was a heavy storm so the whole Shkodër was with no electricity until the next day. They brought to bottle of hot water so I can have a wash. The breakfast was fantastic, home made jam, eggs, butter and white cheese with a great Turkish coffee. Highly recommended
I chose this place due to good recommendation on booking, but this hotel was the only hotel in Albania where I noticed only money seems to be important! The owner was not friendly to me once. After checking in I felt like I received the worst room because they knew I was only a transit tourist. I had very bright light coming through the window at night and the whole room was not very cozy. The hotel offered me to organize transport for me to the mountains. I purchased transport with them and noticed I paid far more than other tourists on the bus and ferry. Thanks God I did have them organized my hotel in the mountains. Since I left very early next morning and breakfast was included in my room, I asked the reception at the previous afternoon if they could prepare me some kind of lunch package. I was told the kitchen was only open in the morning and I should purchase food outside. I had also asked the receptionist to wake me up, but nobody did so. When I asked him why he would not come to wake me up I was told I did not hear him knocking at my door. Since I had to leave my luggage in the hotel while I went hiking in the mountains, they made me pay for each day I stored my pack-bag in the hotel. Other people I met on the hike told me they were even allowed to leave their car for free for several days at another hotels parking, where they stayed. I cannot recommend this place, even is the location is quite good!…
This traditional hotel is centrally located (just a short walk from where inter city buses drop off and pick up) and represents very good value for money. During my three night stay, the staff (Orsela, Lisa and Sead, who each speak excellent English) were so friendly and helpful, taking a genuine interest in my well-being and going out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible (including a room change, which was of no bother to them whatsoever). Bikes were also available for guests to hire free of charge, although I never got round to taking advantage of this myself. Given the informative staff feedback about Lake Koman ferry excursions, I booked my day trip through the hotel and wasn't disappointed. Everything ran like clockwork, with a tasty packed lunch (in place of breakfast, given pick-up time was 6.30am) provided for the day's outing. On my return, the staff were genuinely interested to know how my day went and were generally always happy to chat. To conclude, I really couldn't find fault with Hotel Kaduku and would recommend it to anyone. Staff go the extra mile to make you feel at home and it's the personal touch that makes this place seem so homely and welcoming.…
Good value, clean room, walking distance to centre, their sign is hidden behind a palm tree, but it is behind the Red Bricks Hotel. Private parking gated for a motorbike is such a bonus. Friendly staff. Restaurant recommendation was good - Vila Bekteshi.
Enjoyed every minute at this hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast was basic but fresh. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Helped us plan our trip to Theth and even got us 2 great offroad drivers! Would definitely recommend! Thanks again!
Good value basic hotel centrally located in Shkodër. Close to many restaurants and bars etc. Staff are very friendly and only too willing to help you with anything you may need. The hotel is a little dated but clean and comfortable.
Stayed here for one night on our way to Theth and it was very comfortable and great value for money. The hotel staff were extremely helpful, booked us a transfer to Theth, helped us with busses, and bike rental is free - a real bonus. Great wifi and breakfast. Would stay again.
We stayed here 1 night en route to Koman to catch the ferry to Fierza and minibus to Volbana National Park. The hotel is basic, but right in the center near the main pedestrian street. All the facilities worked fine and they were nice enough to pack our breakfast (included) to go since the minibus for Koman leaves at 6:30. The minibus driver (for Koman) will come and pick you up at the hotel - very convenient. We at at the "Pizza Park" just 2 minutes away and it was very good. Would stay here again for basic accommodation on a stop over.
My wife and me stayed one night at this hotel in April 2019.We got a superior room on the upper floor, quite a nice room with city view. Although in the city center, the hotel is quiet. The price very moderate. Breakfast included in the price, a simple breakfast. The staff behaved gentle and decent.
We got to this hotel with not a clue what is it going to be. We just wanted a room for the last night in Albania. We got a very big room with two big windows a nice but small bathroom, a a bed so wide we felt lost in it. Breakfast was served in the basement , small modest verity of product but it was fine for us. but the hospitality form the stuff and the owners was like family. and that hat made it so unique.
