Great value, small, clean and quite hotel with exceptional service. Sead at the reception was great and very helpful. During the night it was a heavy storm so the whole Shkodër was with no electricity until the next day. They brought to bottle of hot water so I can have a wash. The breakfast was fantastic, home made jam, eggs, butter and white cheese with a great Turkish coffee. Highly recommended

The location of this little hotel is excellent. Right in the middle of the town and close to the pedestrian street with the restaurants and cafes. The rooms are average, clean and quiet. If you stay in this hotel, don´t forget to take the free bikes. It is the easiest way moving around even if there are no bikeways. The price 23 € for a single room with breakfast, free wi-fi and bikes is very good. The staff is friendly and surprised me with packed breakfast when I was leaving for Lake Koman early in the morning. The only thing I did not like was the noise from the construction work in the neighboring hotel. But that was not Hotel Kadukus´s fault.

I chose this place due to good recommendation on booking, but this hotel was the only hotel in Albania where I noticed only money seems to be important! The owner was not friendly to me once.
After checking in I felt like I received the worst room because they knew I was only a transit tourist. I had very bright light coming through the window at night and the whole room was not very cozy.
The hotel offered me to organize transport for me to the mountains. I purchased transport with them and noticed I paid far more than other tourists on the bus and ferry. Thanks God I did have them organized my hotel in the mountains.
Since I left very early next morning and breakfast was included in my room, I asked the reception at the previous afternoon if they could prepare me some kind of lunch package. I was told the kitchen was only open in the morning and I should purchase food outside.
I had also asked the receptionist to wake me up, but nobody did so. When I asked him why he would not come to wake me up I was told I did not hear him knocking at my door.
Since I had to leave my luggage in the hotel while I went hiking in the mountains, they made me pay for each day I stored my pack-bag in the hotel. Other people I met on the hike told me they were even allowed to leave their car for free for several days at another hotels parking, where they stayed. I cannot recommend this place, even is the location is quite good!

Arrived late morning - hotel happy for us to check in early.

Excellent location by Sheshi Demokracia - for cathedrals, mosques, restaurants, bars, taxis, as well as coaches and furgons out of the city.

Staff friendly and reasonably helpful, although could have better tourist knowledge of city and e.g. give out city maps. Hotel has pretty buildings and good security. Bathroom reasonably clean. Mosquito covering over window. Comfortable beds, tidy room and A/C. Wifi in room poor. Organised breakfast for us for an early departure - although didn't quite get order right. Set an alarm although also awoken by nearby cockerel!

Very good value at 32 euro per night incl breakfast for a double room.

Good option overall, although if I stayed a second time, I would ask for a room in the main building.

We stayed here for one night. The hotel is very conveniently located right in the center of town. The rooms are basic but comfortable and there is a nice breakfast. The hotel stands out for the very friendly staff members, particularly those who work at reception. They answered all of our questions and provided lots of advice on the cheapest and easiest ways of getting to various locations. They were truly a goldmine of knowledge. I would definitely stay here again.

Good value basic hotel centrally located in Shkodër. Close to many restaurants and bars etc. Staff are very friendly and only too willing to help you with anything you may need. The hotel is a little dated but clean and comfortable.

The hotel is close to everything central and next to the coach stops to montenegro.

Our room was very homely, airy and clean and a very good nights sleep was had.

The hotel staff were out of this world. After a cock up with our bus to Montenegro they kindly looked after our luggage and took the time to sit down with my son and and talk about the history of Albania.

A top hotel with top staff

Welcoming hotel close to the pedestrian street, with free private parking. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were small but somehow that wasn't an issue and everything worked well. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast with freshly made omelets. They even have free bicycles for guests. At 35€ for two, it's great value.

We spent there two nights and were overwhelmed by the friendliness of the stuff and the owner. The family Kaduku has a long history/tradition and I had a nice talk with the owner in German :) We usually booked two single beds but got an free upgrade for a double bed room. There are parking spots available but space is limited. Cars block each other and the receptionist keeps the car keys just in case someone wants to leave but is blocked. Breakfast was okay (bread, jam, coffee/tea, juice, omlett). We enjoyed the central location a lot.
