We found florian 's guesthouse at the last minute and had a really good time there. Florian has a lot of interesting stories and the food that his family grows and cooks is probably the best thing we tasted in albania. If you are in the area then I would definitely recommend staying here.

The guesthouse is very comfortable, and Florian offers exceptional hospitality as a host. He makes you feel like one of the family. Dinner is delicious, and it offers a wonderful opportunity to learn about Albanian culture and history. Florian is very knowledgeable about Albanian history and shares very interesting stories about his family's experiences in Albania. The homegrown food and...

Had a really good stay with Florian. He organised a tour for around Shkodra in the day which was really good (although we didn't realise it cost until the end). He prepared a lovely dinner for us which got all the guests chatting and made everyone feel really welcome. We were able to use bikes for free to explore the...

I consider Florian as a wonderful host/friend and not just a hostel owner. He arranged my unconventional (2 day 1 night) solo trip to Valbone on a short notice which I wouldn't have done otherwise. We had delicious vegetarian dinner grown from his farm with exceptional home distilled raki and wine which his father proudly brews. He even followed up...

I ate dinner at Florian's on two occasions. He served a ton of very tasty vegetarian food grown in his garden. And copious amounts of his homemade wine. There's an unspoken no-empty-glass policy. Pleasant conversation over dinner. He also helped arrange travel up to Theth, which I doubt I could've done on my own. I highly recommend staying here.

Excellent place to stay. Had a meal at Florians house, wonderful organic food and good company. He also arranged us a pickup from the hostel for the next morning to the Lake Komani ferry (even though we were messaging him very late in the evening)

I had the pleasure of staying here for two nights but could have easily stayed for at least a week or two. I consider Florian a friend now and the rest of his family was extremely hospitable as well. I definitely would recommend staying here as I also intend to go back.

Staying at Florian's Guesthouse was great. Florian is extremely helpful and accommodating. He seems to genuinely have the best interest of his guests in mind at all times. The fresh garden cooked dinner and bottomless homemade wine each night is an amazing value for only 5 euro. Would definitely recommend staying here is you pass through northern Albania.

We had a wonderful stay at Florian's and could not have had a better start to our journey in Albania. Florian is very friendly and he gave us a good introduction to the country. It really feels like living with an Albanian family. All the food is organic from his own garden and the wine is made by his father....
