We felt great! The staff was extremely nice and very respectful, the food was extraordinary and very delicious... Everything was perfect. And then came the hotel...unbelievable rooms with amazing prices and in perfect conditions. This hotel is in my opinion an extra reason why people should visit the city of Shkodra. Thanks a lot!!!

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is a restored 16th century hotel. The restaurant is amazing. Ate there last night and the waiter was great. He recommended some Albanian dishes and everything was fantastic. Including their wine. Geg (Jon) our host was amazing. Our tour operator fell through to go to Komani Lakes and he took...

The hotel was VERY nice. The hotel is old, and the floors creek and the water was only warm, never HOT. But the bed was comfortable, the room always clean. The people were very friendly and spoke more English than the Italian hotel we stayed at later in the trip. The breakfasts are not to be missed!!!! If you are...

This hotel is full of atmosphere and charm. Nonetheless, the room was extremely comfortable with everything a modern traveler might need. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is good for walking to the center of the town which is not far away. Please don't neglect to dine at the hotel restaurant. The food is delicious and the...

The gorgeous hotel is dated back to 1694 (completely rebuilt 2004 to modern standards) and has a gorgeous restaurant attached with lamb on the spit and live entertainment. It was an autumn themed dinner event we were lucky to attend. The locals all very friendly and another table bought us some Raki as we were having so much fun that...

We stayed one night and ate at their restaurant which is a must do even if you don't spend the night. A talented group of young men work the embers of a large fireplace where your meal is prepared in front of you. I suggest getting their early so you can sit near the fireplace to get the best view....

This hotel has a lovely ambiance with great attention to every detail. Our room was comfortable and clean with a great bed and nice linens (note, Albanians keep the top sheet folded so you have to unfold it yourself or the bedsheet is too short). The shower had plenty of hot water The décor is well crafted too. Breakfast was...

This is just a lovely hotel - the staff are excellent and do their utmost to make your stay a pleasant one. The family room with a double bed on the ground floor and 3 single beds on the mezzanine appealed greatly to our kids. The courtyard area was pleasant and I can imagine that long summer evenings could very...

We stayed for a total of three nights in this hotel. After those 3 nights I can tell you what we really enjoyed and what has to improve according to my girlfriend and me. Positive notes. - Being an old restorated north Albanian house, I don´t think there is a more picturesque or romantic hotel in the Area of Shkoder....

We stayed there for one night, and two dinners. For the room there is little to say - it was nice and clean. The heating was done through an AC - so rather loud and not too effectful, but at the same time that compromise probably serves you well in hot summer nights. So no points deducted for that. The...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Tradita Geg & Tosk Hotel and Restaurant, is located in Shkodra city. It is an old traditional house dating 1694, a nice traditional place, surrounded by an ethnography which Mr. Gjon Dukgilaj successfully transformed into a restaurant and hotel. Built with typical elements such as stones and wood, the interior is furnished, decorated with the old authentic objects and traditional costumes from the area.
