This is a good hotel, close to the train station, huge reception and a good view from the room, many restaurants within the hotel, and the service is good. The down side is the price is high considering the value; the city Kokura is not a major city with many attractions and the building / room is getting old. Also... More

Fantastic location – walking distance via covered walkway to supermarkets (for grocery shopping; some also sold cooked food), shopping malls and Kokura train station. The airport shuttle bus drop pick up and off points (note: drop off and pick up are not at the same place) are also within walking distance, and all but a few steps are sheltered. There... More

My Japanese friend helped to book this hotel as he thought it has harbor view. We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. To be very honest, we don't feel conformable at this hotel. The hotel seems quite popular to host wedding party, so i guess they don't care too much about room. The room is quite dirty, especially carpet (see... More

Conveniently located in walking distance from the train station. The lobby area very spacious, checking in smooth without any excitement. The rooms are very clean but in need of a working over. Everything in grayish/brownish color with old style furniture. The bed very low and not really comfortable. Bathroom again clean but really aged. WLAN in the room free and... More

This hotel is in a very good location if you need to be near the main station. Connected by a covered walkway on the 3rd floor. Public spaces are very large and clean. Staff very friendly. Room was average size for this kind of hotel in Japan. We had two semi double beds. Large bathroom but shower and bath combined.... More

There are so many reasons why you should stay at this hotel if you are in Kokura City. The front desk staff speaks some english. Rooms are clean and everything is in working order. The Kokura Station, which is disabled friendly (yes!!!), is next door and for shopping.. everything is within walking distance. If its the traditional Japanese culture you... More

First impression of this hotel was pretty promising. It's a tall, impressive looking building very close to Kokura station, and there is an elevated walkway connecting directly to it. The lobby is very grand with lots of polished marble and open space. Unfortunately, it was all downhill after that. When we went up to our room, our first thought on... More

The hotel rooms and hotel needs refurbishing. The lobby area is quite good. Rooms and corridors very rundown. Beds unusually bad standard for Asia, pillows not comfortable. Did not eat breakfast at the hotel since it was not included. Opted for in-room dining from nearby convenience store, which was nice. Internet fast enough for working and staff were extremely helpful,... More

I went Japan on my language and culture and technical training in Jun-2014. The hotel is one of the most grand I have ever seen. Also one of the thread festival Tana bata was going on which is writing your wish and tying onto one of the branches of the tree. The hotel people were glad to help you in... More

Near to Jr station , unluckily , sleep in the smoking floor with smoke smell already in the corridor . Ventilator fan not working very well , pillow is too soft for me . Breakfast buffet variety is also not too much . However , the room is still clean . The wall is also papery thin .Choose this hotel... More
