I booked this hotel when I visited Ise Jingu (Ise Grand Shrine) this April. Hotel is situated within a few minutes walk from the station and walking distance from one of the main shrine (Gekū - the outer shrine). To visit Naikū (Inner shrine), you can take the public bus service in front of the station. Since both shrines are... More

This hotel is only about 3-5 minutes walk from ISESHI station. The area is very quite but there are quite a few restaurants and supermarket to serve you. Room is clean. bed is small but it is typical for Japanese hotel. I vote "yes" for this hotel.

Location is great to visit Ise Jingu!!! The rooms are small but very clean!! If you only need a room to sleep it's great but if you want to relax in your room, it's not the place. The 1 floor restaurant is very good! What you order it could be expensive or not. Next door there's a convenience store!!! If... More

iseshi is the place to stay if you want to visit ise jingu (grand shrine). this is a small hotel with little facilities, but good enough if you are going out most of the time. A supermarket next door is always a bonus as we can get yogurt, fruits etc for supper.

An expensive hotel for the area. Somewhat old but clean. Walkable distance from the trains and attractions. Staff was helpful. But for the price and other accommodations available, you can get much better if you plan ahead.

The Ise City Hotel Annex is, as the name implies, not to be confused with its sister hotel 150 m down the road. I’m sure that Ise has its charms, but in a quick overnight stay I had only a couple of observations: the hotels are few and scattered; the restaurants are few and scattered; and planning in advance (or... Even though the room charge was very low, it was spacious enough to rest and sleep and of corse clea so there was no need for worry. Also the hotel has great acccess to the station and also near to the famous Shinto shrine, Ise-jingu, so we are totally satisfied with the stay at this hotel.

Spent a night visiting Ise on a slow tour of the area. It was not difficult to find but a little farther than I would have liked from Ise Station. It was a little closer to Ujiyamada Station and the bus information at the front desk was for Ujiyamada Station. This was better as the bus was easy to get... More

I had originally planned to book into the Toyoko Inn in Matsusaka (about 5,000/night) but since my business was in Ise I decided to get a bit closer. The hotel was fine. It is a tiny bit worn but not badly so, everything was clean and in good condition. Really though, it's just average and at about 8,000/night is only... More

This hotel is located very near from ise station, so you can easily go to futami by train and to ise jingu naigu by bus. Staff is helpfull, though they almost don't speak English. You can have full European or Japanese breakfast for 700yen. They're ok. Yet it is taken in a beef restaurant who keeps an unpleasant smell in... More

“There is a sushi restaurant called Daiki that is not far from there (turn left when you come out of the hotel and walked along the road and turn left after passing the railway tracks. You will find the restaurant near the traffic lights at the point when you can see the railway station (Ujiyamada stop). Has really good food, and apparently even the Japanese royal family patronizes it.”
