My husband and I had a great weekend escape from all the hustle and bustle of every day life!! Tim and his wife were very accommodating to every need we had!! The firelight was definitely top notch from the heated king bed, the twin soaking tubs to the heated toilet seat!!! They have thought of everything. Tim serves his homemade cider every night complementary. If you do want to splurge I highly recommend having Tim deliver breakfast (his French toast is delicious) and rent the vanderhall! We celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary here and it was definitely a great time! Thanks for making our stay a great memory! We will definitely return!! The Fazenbaker’s

"I like your vibe" is what Timothy said to me and my girlfriend on the final night of our multi-night stay at the Aromatic Cedar dome. Looking back on our little adventure together, the vibes of this place are all I could think about in return. I've always been a believer in the "little things" and this place is full of all of the "little thing vibes." From the location next to the flowing water of the river, the mini torches at the entrance of the dome and hanging lights around the deck, the perfectly located hot tub and fire pit, the heated bathroom and bed, the view from inside the dome while sipping morning coffee and looking across the water, being able to stare up at the stars while laying in bed, the nearby nature trail, the neighboring town of Alderson (shout out to the Big Wheel restaurant), the farm-fresh eggs that can't be matched, the famous cider that the Timothy & Angela could probably sell standalone, and even the book where each guest could share their own stories, every little thing was perfect. I'd like to thank the owners for making this place what it is and for their own vibes they bring to this place each and every day. My girlfriend and I wrote a 3-part story in their guest book right before we left, and I can't wait to come back and write part 4. Cheers!

Our dome., the Firelight, was in a great creek side setting, and included everything we needed for our stay. Our host was available for any questions.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable! The footed tubs with endless hot water and overhead heaters were comfortable and relaxing . . . luxury at its best. The kitchen area had everything we needed for a simple meal, and the outside grille was very convenient. We enjoyed having a glass of wine sitting by the firepit in the evenings. Although it was February, we were toasty warm in our dome. The towns of Alderson and Lewisburg are nearby with interesting shops and restaurants. (Alderson: Riverview Cafe has the best pancakes, and in Lewisburg lunch at the Stardust Cafe - a bistro atmosphere with the greatest sandwiches). We truly enjoyed out time at WVGlamping Domes and will visit again . . . it was quiet, relaxing and very comfortable. A great retreat!

We stayed at the Foxyridge dome and loved it! Even on a very hot day, the dome stayed cool. The rainfall shower head was really nice. Very comfortable king bed and pillows. They didnt skimp on toilet paper either...it was premium! Haha. Hot tub and firepit were very enjoyable with the beautiful views outside. Free use of kayaks/paddleboards was also a nice touch.

Absolutely Amazing!! First I want to say the owners are seriously the best! Any questions they answer immediately and are so welcoming! The owner makes his own hard cider and he delivered each of us a complementary glass of it, we had peach it was delicious 😋. We also ordered french toast and bacon for the 1st morning we were there. The owners made it and delivered it. It was also soo delicious !! The dome we stayed in was perfect, had all the amenities you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation, just bring food and your are good to go! There is a river right next to the dome and it is beautiful not only to see but to hear. There are complementary canoes for you to use as well. There is a hot tub to enjoy and a fire pit to roast marshmallows or just enjoy a fire. This place is just beautiful and relaxing!

We arrived to a cozy romantic setting Friday evening. The room was setup so cute and perfect for the two of us. Our trip originally was a birthday gift turned into a random trip that was then changed to a late honeymoon overnight stay. Since we don’t get much one on one with each other (2 year old at home), this was exactly what we needed. The hot tub was very clean and really helped unwind and destress from the day to day activities. One of my favorite amenities was the heated bed since the weather has cooled down some. Highly recommend anyone looking for a quiet oasis to do this. We love finding the beauty in simplicity and if you are wanting to slow down and just spend time together this is perfect!! We can’t wait to come back for a couple days and try out the trails.

We are already looking forward to returning! A combo of everything we love about camping with the luxury of a great hotel room. We stayed at Foxyridge- it was private and beautiful. We watched sunsets by the smokeless firepit and soaked in the hottub admist fields of fireflies in the evenings. In the heat of the day, we took advantage of the complementary kayaks and stayed cool in the shade of the creek. There was so much thoughtfulness put into the creation of these domes. If you enjoy camping, glamping domes are a must!

My husband and I had the absolute best time staying at WV Glamping Domes for our anniversary. It was our first time in the area and it was beautiful. We stayed in the Firelight dome and it was just the place we needed to unwind, and reconnect. Everything was absolutely perfect. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed to make our stay was magical. The homemade hard apple cider Timothy shared with his guests as a thank you for staying was absolutely delicious!! We sipped it by the fire while listening to the WVU-Pitt game! We are looking forward to our next getaway and can't wait to return!

I stopped camping years ago because I always ended up frozen, hungry, wet, dirty, and smelling like smoke. Staying at The Manor at WV Glampimg Domes changed all that. No more cooking over a fire and mingling ashes, dirt, and half-cooked food thanks to a well supplied kitchen and eating area. Sitting around a fire was actually pleasant thanks to the smokeless fire pit that kept smoke from my clothes and hair. No more squirming around on the hard ground trying to find a spot without rocks under my back. Instead I watched the stars come out from the comfort of my cozy heated bed. And thanks to hot showers and flushing toilets I came home clean. And the rainstorm was the best part. The rain swirled and splatted all around me while I watched from inside a warm, clear, dry bubble. Wonderful! Three generations camping together this weekend and it was magical. Thanks WV Glamping for redesigning camping! I’m a camper again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the VW Glamping Domes. Girls trip adventures. We felt comfortable and safe in our dome that was nestled along the river bank. The family dome could accommodate up to 10. After enjoying the luxury of our hot tub that was actually hot and that had the best jets I've experienced in a while we enjoyed storytelling sitting by the smokeless fire pit. All were very private. As for the accommodations, I cannot say enough how comfortable we were. Our first night was a particularly cold but the options for heating made it incredibly warm, especially the heated mattress and blankets. The bed was amazingly comfortable and we had some of our best nights of sleep. We had everything we needed to cook if we wanted and very much appreciated the supply of coffee. We also ordered breakfast which was delivered quaintly by the dapper host (loved it) and it was very tasty. The kayaks and paddle boards were a bonus. Highly recommend for a glamping experience that is still connected to the intimacy desired when camping.
