I gave this establishment the highest rating because they deserve it. That being said, I want to give anybody reading this a realistic expectation. My family and I stayed here over Christmas while visiting family in the area. We had a very late check-in which they accommodated nicely. We had a pet-friendly room. It was obviously an older building, but... More

Thank you so much for your kind words! It was a joy to host you and your family over the holidays. All of our single king rooms have flat screen HD televisions and our goal is to replace the dated ones in the standard rooms during this calendar year. We are also in the process of painting all of our... More

Great place to stay if visiting for the Tulip Festival or the sights. Homey place with a great breakfast included and an attached restaurant that turned out to be a hidden gem. Anacortes has lots of restaurants, 15 minute drive from the tulip fields and spectacular views of Puget Sound from several high spots in Anacortes. So glad we selected... More

Thank you for taking the time to review us! It appears that your stay was quite some time ago, because our restaurant owner retired in August of 2014. We are in the process of getting a new restaurant up and running. We certainly agree that Anacortes is a great place to stay during the Tulip Festival! Thank you again for... More

We were new to the area and trying to secure housing and they went above and beyond to help accommodate us during our housing crisis. It is conveniently located on Commercial and is close to downtown. The staff was nice and breakfast was good too. My daughter loved the pool! Though the rooms were not the fanciest, they were clean.... More

My wife & I stayed three nights while touring the area & celebrating our anniversary. Staff were upbeat & helpful, room was clean, and the breakfast was pretty good. We got a balcony room with a view, as requested. The motel/facility is an older one and showing its age. Buildings are maintained ok, but the property & landscaping are not... More

It's a place to stay. Old, tired, but the personnel are friendly and try to be accomodating. We gave it a try, won't stay there again. But, we live within 100 miles of anacortes so a day trip is not out of the question. Saying this, folks that were there for some type of reunion (class of '65) said they... More

My 4th time staying here. Unfortunately, pool area maintenance is down, weedy and run down looking, hot tub not as clean as i would have liked. Lack of pool area chairs. Rooms remain adequate. Continental breakfast was disappointing compared to previous visits, dried out fruit and small, packaged muffins, but nice homemade granola. Rooms are very expensive for the facility,... More

Ok--- let's begin realistically. Islands Inn is a motel. I gave it three stars because motels can't go any higher than four stars. I booked this place for an overnight for two reasons 1) some rooms have a "bedroom". We were traveling with an 8 mos old baby and needed a separate room to put her down for nap and... More

I don't even have to ask if the ownership has changed since I stayed here last (maybe a year or two ago?)...it is obvious. And not good. Of all the things on the list of complaints, there probably isn't one that is horrible by itself, but when you put them all together, I am leaving feeling angry and ripped off.... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in July. So on the positive side, this hotel was well priced for high season in a tourist town. Only 10-15 minutes from the ferry terminal and on the main road with restaurants and grocery nearby. Had a nice continental breakfast. We were in an updated room, but there was still room for improvement. The... More

From a warm welcome to the hot tub with all the convenience of a great location, free fresh breakfast and real genuine smiling faces!!! I really enjoyed our stay because the staff was very helpful in suggesting the best of the local activities to catch as there seems to be sooo very much to do there! Good times!
