I was calling on behalf of 4 deaf women who needed some assistance making their reservation. They were older women who had difficulties with renting rooms online so I offered to call and make the reservations for them. So I contacted the hotel to make reservations for them so they didn't have any problems upon arrival but it went to voicemail. The voicemail stated that they were either with a guest or on another line (not that they were closed). Whoever was there to open on 8/31/19 was very rude when she answered the phone. She stated "as the answering machine stated, we aren't open until 9:00 a.m. What is it that you need?" First, if the answering machine had stated that, I wouldn't have kept trying to call. Second, if that is the case, they need to update their answering

Response from Peter B, Owner at Quinault River Inn
Responded Aug 31, 2019
Brittany, Respect is a two-way street. After several rapidly repeated and insistent calls from you at 8am Management answered. Had you listened to our full message you would have heard our office hours (9am to 9PM) clearly stated. Had you left a message, we would have promptly responded after 9am. Your statement above is not true. We are very proud of our service and responsiveness to our guests. As the owner, I welcome speaking with you to clarify your concerns.

We stayed here in our RV in one of the 5 spaces adjacent to the inn. The location on the river, the beautiful grounds and landscaping, and the communal fire pit (with free firewood) were very enjoyable. The only negative was no sewer or dump station, but if you are there just a few days, that's not really an issue. Friendly, helpful owners & staff.

We stayed at 1 of the 5 nice full hook-up RV sites. They were reasonably priced for the location....beautiful, expansive grounds with a lovely fire pit directly next to the lake....had a great time roasting marshmallows. The hosts were friendly & courteous. They gave my family great suggestions for hiking trails in the area.
