Stratford Suites-Spokane is an all-suite, AAA 3 Diamond, Spokane hotel ideal for the business or extended stay traveler. Suites are beautifully furnished and appointed with leather and granite, featuring one or two-bedrooms, pillow top mattress, down pillows and fully equipped kitchens. All suites have a 50” HD TV/DVD in the Living room and a 32" HDTV in the Master bedroom and high-speed wireless Internet. Several one bedroom office suites are equipped with desk, and printer/fax/copier. Services include a Business center, coin operated laundry facility, off-site fitness center and a BBQ area. Never again.

Up until even a few years ago, this place was a jewel. But I travel for business and, while I've spent a lot of money here for the past 10 years, never again. The Internet didn't work the whole time I was there. Neither laptop, phone, nor any other device would connect. I brought this to the front office attention MULTIPLE times but they had no idea what they were doing. I tried all the devices at another hotel and at Starbucks and they started right up. The issue is the HOTEL, *not* my devices. Here's why I KNOW they're not going to get better: they don't hold themselves accountable!!! In Sept. 2022, a reviewer said the internet was poor quality and inconsistent. Their response? "Wi-FI does work well at the hotel, our IT department can assist with most issues." Did they just say this because it sounded good? I contacted the front desk multiple times. They never sent IT, they never sent anyone. Just turned a blind eye to the problem. Another reviewer said, definitively that it never opened by 8:40 when he'd leave. Their response was "we always open at 8:30." Well, obviously NOT. So their responses are simply the opposite of the truth. Like a petulant child, they refuse to admit issues. When I left, I asked the manager contact me. The front desk said OK. I never got that call. I've called multiple times but the phone just rings. I left a message. Nobody called back. Final thing: another reviewer complained about cleanliness. They got blacklisted. Yes, these folks even have a blacklist. This tells me everything I ever need to know about the hotel. Used to be a jewel. Used to be.…

Not as good as it used to be

Not as good as it used to be. Our first room just had the carpet cleaned, room was very very wet and one of our party slipped and fell on the tile. We were given another room, this one might have been cleaned but there were remnants of prior guest left in plain sight. Elected not to move our belongings yet again. Couch and beds in both rooms were saggy and in need of updating. Overheard staff discussing problems in other units as well. Whole property is in need of some care. Sitting here listening to late night parties playing loud music. Won’t be back.

Amazing

I love this place. My home away from home. They have full kitchens and they are set up like apartments . It is close to Northern Quest Casino and lots of restaurants. I just love the espresso bar.We will definitely be back.

Bad management

The manager is horrible. I booked 2 nights and paid 306.00 when I got there for check in I was told I was on the blacklist because I had complained about the cleanliness of the room. I requested a refund and was denied I paid for a hotel room for 2 nights I didn't get to use either night and was denied my money back she obviously pocketed the money or she would have no problem refunding it

stay away

What a dump! Looks like the manager died. The office is supposed to open at 8:30am. I have to leave by 8:40am and have never seen them open by then since I have stayed there. Who knows when they come in. Housekeeping is very poor. They sit out and smoke until after 10am. They are supposed to clean the rooms once a week. But they don't clean the kitchen, the stove top, counters, etc. They don't vacuum the carpet. The blinds don't look like they have been cleaned in years. The mope at the front desk, "Jonah" was all about telling me about how I would be fined $35 if I lost my key and he had to come in after midnight to be let in. The rooms are dark, dirty and the employees behave as they don't have any supervision. Stay elsewhere.

Staff promptly opens the hotel by 8:30am, 9am on weekends. Housekeeping is constantly improving, was just very difficult through the pandemic.

If Internet Service and Cleanliness is Your Priority...Stay Away from Stratford Suites

Been staying here since late May 2022, over 4 months, and the internet is extremely poor quality, inconsistent and often non-existence. Cleaning is woefully poor, and request to clean certain areas (sink/tub/floors, etc.) is oftened ignored. I would not recommend if you need access to internet. When offered to use the conference room, it took registered poor connectivity. I was told that my suite had the best connection...I can only wonder what others were experiencing.

Wi-Fi does work well at the hotel, our IT department can assist with most issues. We are always looking for ways to improve cleanliness, yet are sometimes limited cleaning around personal belongings.

Not good value

I'm not sure why everyone is giving high marks with Stratford Suites. Our two bedroom suite wasn't very clean, mold growing around the shower surround, a/c didn't work to cool the rooms, and the bathroom smelt like marijuana. For $300 a night, I would have expected a lot better especially since the location isn't really that good unless you are going to the casinos. Won't stay here again.

Yikes, I'd stay elsewhere

The front desk worker was not wearing a mask. The room isn't as clean as it should be. There was food in the stove and bits in the sink. The bathroom smelled and needs a deep clean. There's a faint smoke odor as well. The area isn't nice. Maintenance did come by quickly and he was wearing a mask.

Neat and tidy

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite, great prices and this is a one level hotel. No stairs and long hallways. Very clean and spacious , we were impressed with the inside and outside in a nice area with restaurants close by. Everything is very neat and tidy, this property is well cared for. The office (Shanna) is welcoming, we felt like we were home. Has the best espresso machine open 24/7. I will stay here whenever I am in Spokane. Highly recommend this hotel, we felt safe and at home.

Great facility & Staff

The Stratford Suites went above and beyond on our most recent visit. We have stayed there several times over the past few years as it is a great location to the Spokane airport and concerts at the casino. When I made a reservation online, I made an error which was my fault. After calling the front desk; they worked with management to correct my mistake. They were very kind about it. The suite we stayed in was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities you expect from a nice place. The fireplace and kitchen is definitely a plus. Would definitely return in the future.
