Everything was great until our keys didn't work and the staff member was no where to be found and when we yelled out he was very rude and accused me of lying. I am giving a 3 because of this staff member. All other aspects of our stay was great!
We booked two rooms. One was nice The other, room 137 smelled as if something bad smelling had been spilled and covered up with febreze. The result was putrid smelling febreze. We brought it to the staff’s attention. We were told by Elaine that they could not move us or refund us because a manager was not present. We did not stay in this room as it was disgusting. Moved to a different hotel.
Read the reviews and we weren’t expecting much. We couldn’t find any nearby hotels with 2 beds, so this was pretty much our last choice. We paid like $190 for 3 adults on a Saturday night in August. The other options were closer to $300. Service was friendly and prompt, beds were comfortable, room and bathroom appeared clean. They even opened up early for breakfast Sunday morning which worked well for us. They had a shuttle van running to the airport, which we didn’t need but could see it would be convenient. Only criticisms would be lawn around east side of property had trash strewn about. The trash dumpster on the property was over flowing. Lighting could be better in parking lot. Lots of activity in parking lot. There were a few high volume lights attached to the building that didn’t come on during the night. I parked as close to the front door as possible where most of the bright lighting was. We don’t usually stay at economy hotels, but we found that this Days Inn was decent and more than acceptable for an overnight for us, so we’d recommend…
Ugh! I got bit multiple times and finally found the spider in the bedding. The check in staff was rude and snarky. No staff and most guests followed any Covid safety protocols that we saw. There was an overwhelming oder of cleaning solution that gave us headaches, yet the room was dirty (hair in shower, bugs in bed). The room was so tiny there was no room to put the dog bed though they were happy to charge us extra for having our dog with us. No area was set aside for dogs outside, no poop bags or trash bin nearby. And no one picked up their dog’s waste, so exterior of entire facility has new and old piles of dog waste. Yuck!
Our review: (Room 209/ 2 Queen Beds). The room itself was very clean, but there were some things that would make me not rate this hotel very highly. Firstly, the alarm clock that was on the bed stand doesn’t work. Secondly, there is a continental breakfast from 6 AM to 9 AM. What I noticed when we got down there at around 8:10 AM (which is almost an hour left of breakfast) is that there was very little food items & coffee left. Many of the items had run out. This is the first time I’ve ever experienced this at any hotel and I travel frequently. Other hotels will always replenish as the three hours are ongoing to make sure that there is enough for all Hotel guests. Also, there is a coffee machine that is put out by the couches, out in the lobby. I noticed that once that becomes empty, it does not get refilled at all. This is actually very important to me in choosing Days Inn. I would not recommend this particular Days Inn in Airway Heights.…
