I arrived to the 2 room suite and only found the king bed (expected) and a large conference table (unexpected). There were other hotels with the option as I expressed above. It was a quick night and we were here because my wife had 2 work shifts and one early shift in the morning. I am sure that Hilton will take care of this and I'll reply with the correction. The hotel was not bad besides this.

Hotel's Favorite
I am a frequent traveler and user of Hilton brands, and this is the fourth Washington DC area Embassy Suites hotel I've stayed at in three years. It is very near the Dulles airport (hotel shuttle) and a few restuarants within 3 minutes walk. The signature Embassy Suites breakfast is very good, and I was pleased with the staff greeting at the front desk and they checked me in at noon, three hours early The architecture of the hotel is very nice; the building could easily house a 4-star hotel. Well done. Housekeeping was excellent and other staff were very friendly. The Wi-Fi was good too. All five stars. Now, three and four stars that draft it down a bit is the fact that this Embassy Suites, like so many others, needs a facelift in furnishings. The multi-function phones don't work. To get wake up call, restuarant, schedule a ride, etc, you have to call the front desk and they get too busy. It is not uncommon to be on hold 10 minutes or longer. This is not their fault...but a managment scheduling issue. Mildly annoying. Next, every single night at 9:20pm, many channels of satellite TV go out with "no signal", with no warning and if you watch a show from 9 to 10pm, you may as not even try (I was in room 507). The lighting in the rooms is poor, except for the bedroom which is by the window. But night, everything, including the bathroom, is a dim yellow-white. The bathroom needs flourescent lighting or some kind of bright white. Ladies who want to put on makeup will not like having no bright light and no makeup mirror. The microwaves are old. None of this is terrible, but the Embassy Suites brand is slipping behind their competitors in these areas. It's still very good for a 3-Star hotel, but beware...it's time to update a few things.

I stay at this hotel regularly and definitely the hotel needs renovation and staff constantly changes due to evident management issues. With that said, staff entering my room in the middle of the night is totally unacceptable. It has happened twice and the worst part is the response of the staff and management.

Booked this hotel as a fun January outing for the family since it has the evening reception, pool, and breakfast. The desk staff were efficient but not friendly. The hotel was hosting a cat convention (yes, a cat convention) and there were live cats throughout the lobby and hotel. As someone with a severe allergy, I felt like the hotel should have notified us in advance. I had to avoid most common areas and the lobby as they had booths set up all over. When we did venture out for the evening reception the bartender was rude and the food was pretty much gone. Plus no seating to be had. The breakfast attendants were much nicer, but there was no seating at all and many people were having to stand around and pounce (forgive the cat pun) when a table got up. We asked for a late checkout so my daughter could swim in the pool and were told "we don't do that here." All in all, disappointed with the hotel and will rethink future stays.

Was very pleased that it had a sofa for relaxing before heading out. Like the extra space. Love the microwave and fridge for leftovers. Breakfast was delicious. Will definitely stay again at Embassy suites.
