This is a charming place at first, but the first night staying there, there was a convulsing mouse rolling around the kitchen floor, as well as one running around the counter from behind the fridge. I get it, it is an old house, but the host said she would set more mouse traps around the house, and proceeded to put the mouse traps on the counter next to our food. These traps did not work, as the peanut butter the host put in them was all gone the next morning. Also the wifi does not work during the night, and consistency in times of when this wifi goes off suggests that it is turned off around midnight and set back on around 6 am. When we arrived, there were still towels in the laundry that were in the washer and dryer that had been forgotten about. And the king sized bed IS JUST TWO MATTRESSES PUT TOGETHER. The peacocks were cool though and the hot tub was nice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Fairview. It was our 2nd time staying in the house and I'm sure it will not be our last. The host, Jennifer, is very hospitable and is quick to respond to any inquiries our group had. Fairview is about 20-30 minutes from some great breweries and wineries. It is a beautiful place to come home to for the evening to relax and sit around the enormous dining room table and talk about our day's activities or relax in the hot tub after our adventures. We found the kitchen to be well stocked with all the necessities. It's a very cozy and comfortable place to call our home away from home for a weekend. We look forward to our next visit!

We came here for a family reunion. The views are spectacular. Most of the upstairs bedrooms are well appointed. One king, but the rest smaller beds. Rooms have chests, but no closets. The kitchen is nice, I'd like to have the six burner stove at home! But there are things that make us wonder if we're wanted. The first day we noticed that there was only one internet connection and it was unsecured. When mentioned to the owner, nothing was done. Which meant that the Roku on the tv wouldn't work. Though the kitchen as mentioned is nice, the freezer is missing two shelves. As we were DIYing it, the space would have been nice. The fridge is not hooked up to a water supply for ice. That's not a big deal, but there was no mention of that. We stayed on the first floor. My wife is disabled and it is difficult to climb the stairs. There's a smaller bed there. But the tub is large (with water jets) and is very difficult to get in and out of. There is a chest of four drawers. The top two have sheets and other items for the inn. The bottom drawer has no bottom. So there is only one drawer for use. I had to use that and my suitcase for my clothes. There is no closet in the room. The sofa in the parlor is old. No springs, and the stuffing is coming out of the cushion. Musty. There should be a booklet telling folks like ourselves where things are and how to use them. It was great that there's a washer and dryer in the inn. But one has to go to an extremely cluttered basement area to use them. There is so much potential for this property. I'm just wondering if there's an overall game plan.

Our group of friends booked the entire house last year in October and had such a wonderful stay that we went back this year. The house is amazing and this year, we actually got to meet and spend some time with the owner. She was wonderful and gave us some history on the house. We will definitely be back next year. Perfectly situated outside of town, so we have privacy, but close enough to wineries and breweries that we can enjoy visiting many of them. If you live in the city, this place is wonderful for stargazing and some peace and quiet. Thank you Jennifer for such a wonderful stay!

We held our family reunion here as our family owned the property when it was the Camden home in fact my father was born on the property. what a wonderful time to get together and share memories. We had plenty of room for everyone, loved the fire pit we spent many hours outside, the rooms are very comfortable. Jennifer was extremely helpful in planning and welcoming our group that came from seven states. Highly recommend this property views are the best
