If you can remember that this was THE FIRST Marriott Hotel built in 1959, you can be a little more forgiving and appreciative of the "charm." I kept telling myself 'historic' when I would find faults. Low ceilings, old style architecture, few elevators, additions that make for some strange configurations. It's super convenient to the business district, you can walk... More

This Marriott is old and in need of some upgrading. Everything just looks a bit tattered and worn. The rooms are a good size and the views of the Potomac are lovely. The staff is very good, but the shabbiness of the place is just not what I have come to expect from a Marriott, which is my hotel chain... More

The location is nice, and the hotel is pretty, with great views. The rooms are a little smaller than I had hoped, and we didn't eat at the hotel because it was pricey. The staff are friendly, especially the housekeepers. The pools are great, indoor and out. There is a little park across the street that has summer outdoor Friday... More

Start with the positives - great location and going for an easy run on the trail is fantastic. I was only there one night but seems to be a good location in general. The restaurant was good...basic but tasty and relaxed. But...here we go..my room was dated and worn. Really dated. No plastic bag for laundry, no soap for shower...seemingly... More

Positives: -The hotel is located nearby Washington D.C. at a slightly more affordable price. -The service was good. Negatives: -No free wi-fi -The room was not well cleaned when we arrived. There was a rusty nail on the bathroom counter. The room was dusty, and there was an old piece of unwrapped candy on the floor. The people staying a... More

Stayed her last night for business meeting. Let's start with the positives. This hotel has a great location with easy access to DC and Georgetown. Bad news is that this hotel needs a serious update. The rooms are very warm and the lighting very dim. I guess the lights are low for a reason. Believe it or not I am... More

I recently stayed two nights at the Key Bridge Marriott for a business trip. I was pleased with the hotel in every aspect particularly with the customer service. From the minute I entered the hotel the staff was always available to assist me. Every staff person including front desk, concierge, and bar, that I encountered went the extra mile to... More

Typical Marriott... clean with very friendly service. What set this hotel apart for us however was the ease of bike riding into DC along paved bike trail as well as short bike ride across the Key Bridge to access C&O canal.

The staff was very nice. Our bags did not make it with us when we reached DC. They had back up toiletries for us, which we really needed after 10 hours of flying. Clean room with a slight view of the Potomac. The metro is about a 10 minute walk. Quick ride into DC. The food in the restaurant was... More

I was a bit sad by the hotel. We checked in and the toilet did not work. That was fixed while we were at dinner. The entire hotel had a musty smell and did not appear too clean. For the amount we spent on our stay this was a very sad place.
