The hotel rooms are acceptable but nothing to scream about. The best part of this hotel is the staff. Specifically Hakim who is the friendliest bartender around. He is super attentive and makes sure you enjoy your time.
Greatly enjoyed the personal bar service and menu, Hakim is friendly, professional, and attentive; he welcomed us with a smile and recommended food and drinks for us, highly recommended we are first time DC visitors and Hakim offered a comfortable landing at the bar after a long day's travel
Hakeem & Vincent we’re great at the bar. Very friendly. Ask them about where they are from. Hakeem was a French teacher and will teach you if you ask him too! Vincent speaks Spanish too! Will be back because of them!
Great hotel with wonderful rooms, great food, impeccable service, great spaces for events, and a fantastic bar. Hakim was a fantastic bartender, great drinks, personable, and fun! We had an event here and everyone in the group had a wonderful experience.
Outstanding hotel- perfect location (walking distance to Georgetown; middle of Rosslyn) & super friendly staff who provide world class customer service. Hakim & his staff are particularly perfect with restaurant & bar. Super clean rooms.
Hotel was great! Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because of the check in process and valet parking. The gentleman that parked my car was rude and on his phone until I rolled window down and asked for assistance. Guest rooms were wonderful and service in hotel was great. I will consider returning
Well, I am a globalist and loyal Hyatt member. It was very disappointing that being on business and expecting a full service hotel, to find that only barfood was available after 2 pm. After working all day, it would have been nice to sit down to a full service dining experience. I traveled during Covid , but dang pizza, burger, grill cheese does not count as a evening meal. Will probably stay at the Alexandria Hyatt next trip
Good room. The bar experience was amazing. Hakim did a phenomenal job managing the bar. The food was solid for a hotel but the drinks Hakim made made the experience worth it. Beers and the mixed drinks were amazing. Would strongly recommend the hotel for the bar experience.
This previously was a very good hotel, but of late there have been some changes that make it no different than any other hotel in the area. First of all, now they FORCE ALL GUESTS TO USE VALET PARKING, which completely eliminates the purpose of having a car at the hotel. Without IN & OUT PRIVILEGES for guests, using a car downtown is very cumbersome as each time you use it you have to wait for the valet to go and retrieve your car, which can take 10+ minutes each time. Secondly, the rooms are so tiny that there is no discernible value to being a World of Hyatt member - it's not as if they can upgrade you in any meaningful way.
Great Hotel location, staff is wonderful. Breakfast was pretty bad, except the fruit and omelet station. Waffles were in-edible. Starbucks wasn’t open on our second day, but there is a location around the corner. I would stay again, bc the location is so close to Georgetown. But, plan on breakfast out.
